As someone who went through the process myself being sent to prison, doing rehabilitation orders and making my elderly parents pay compensation because I had no money to pay compensation. Shouldn't that be enough? Why pay compensation aswell as serving punishment. Now Britain the country I live in news channels are talking about seizing assets to pay compensation and stop benefits for people who go to prison and mental health institutions it's just too much. Shameful disgraceful disgusting. They are already going to prison and mental health institutions as punishment leave it at that.
