Nice work Laurence. I think maybe the reason there isn't a longer shifter handle is that the mechanical action would be too easily overcome by leverage, and would ruin the feel it has. And to engineer an adjustable mechanism would add too much cost and complexity to it. I'm thinking about getting one, so thanks for your insight.
Pretty much a heusinkveld's argument against "bigger is better". It's so tiny it's amusing, and yet it does the job just right from the looks of it. Very minimalistic design and the see through plate is something I like a lot. It would probably fit well to have next to an H shifter to just have ready without the need to swap plates, modes and switch binds in the game or even just as an handbrake. The price is a hard pill to swallow though.
Yeah you’re right. I think the price is justifiable though for the market they target. However, my experience with dedicated sequentials is limited so I don’t know. I do love the design too. It’s not cheap but it’s worth the money. Hope that makes sense :)
I’d like to try one of these. I love my AioLogs though. Don’t think I’d ever replace it. It’s really a shame they canceled the H pattern. Maybe if they weren’t designing it to be an H/Sq combo the could really bring something special to market. I think having a combo shifter creates too much of a compromise either direction.
Laurence Dusoswa This is high end pC only sim hardware which calls for an aluminum profile chassis with almost unlimited mounting options. As you show in the video they already make a great stand alone sequential shifter. Why compete with yourself? I honestly don’t think for any reasonable amount of money you can make a great H/SQ combo. Not something that feels any better then the Fanatec option. If you already have a small compact damn near zero foot print sq shifter, why not do the same for an H Pattern? Focus on that, focus on making the best H pattern you can for the price point. The advantage the Fanatec has is you can mirror the SQ feature to the paddles on your Fanatec wheel. Thus not having to re map buttons in games when switching between the two . Games that don’t have multiple hardware config profiles that is. That’s a good enough reason to have a combo right there. You won’t get a feature like that with anything HE makes. At least not without some kind of trick software.
Dam I just dropped $6 grand on sim gear about to buy custom 80/20 rig I been designing away and stuck between jinx shifter or fanatec shifter as the fanatec one has both. What to do then I look n like the one in this review

You're almost there. Just need a '0:00 Start' to enjoy this feature. *Add chapters to a progress bar.* For each of your uploaded videos, you can add video chapters. To opt into video chapters, make sure that the first timestamp you list starts with 00:00. Your video should have at least three timestamps listed in ascending order. Old review I know, but this thing is the spawn of Satan himself - There was no way this thing was going to mount to my rig in any reasonable form. In the end i did a hardware rage quit and bought a rather disappointing Thrustmaster sequential - it's shite, but it mounts.

It’s nice as a consumer to not have to install parts on your rig when you switch to a sequential car
