Thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching. I have no stitchers in my craft circle of friends so it’s nice to see what my flosstube friends are doing. Happy stitching!
I haven't done a monochromatic stitch yet but stitching in a circle might be my first. Yours looks cool so far. You know I really enjoy spending time stitching with you every week. All your beautiful projects and fabric choices are so inspiring. Happy Mother's Day weekend. Enjoy your visit with your daughter and her room mate.
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful stitching. I always enjoy your videos. I can’t wait to see everyone’s Ink Circles reveals. Look forward to seeing your next update. Happy stitching!
It's nice to see Cinnamon Stars again. If it makes you feel better, I still have Gather In in its plastic envelope with flosses, ready to start. There was something about those fall folk art feel pieces that drew so many of us in. I know it will circle around again and I'll be inspired to get a start on it. Have a great week!
Hi Laura. Great video. Such lovely stitching. I must give you a laugh - when you were talking about Garden of Zig I remembered that I had started it last year so decided to pull it out and join the mystery stitch along because I was sure I would not be using the called for colours. Well, not only the called for but the actual Ink Circles floss pack from Cottage Garden!!😂😂. Anyway, it’s looking gorgeous! Enjoy your weekend and happy stitching.
Monochromatic pieces are my go to when I just can't deal with changing colors. I enjoy all stitching. You are an enabler. When I heard that Carolyn Manning was having a sale I immediately had to check it out. $30 later here I am. This circle of friends is such a blessing.
Another huge Fourth Wing fan here. I’m getting everything together to start Celtic Dragon - thank you so much for bringing that pattern to my attention! Your other dragon piece reminds me of Violet and her dragon, too, but to me, it’s her and Andarna. The size is right, and I can imagine them in that tender pose. Tairn is too large and too conscious of his image to show affection that openly. I love how cantankerous and crotchety he is. But if it says Violet and Tairn to you, that’s perfect. It’s going to be a beautiful piece. Thanks for leading me to patterns I never would’ve found on my own!
Hi Laura, thank you for another great video. I made a good progress on my Caterpillar cross stitch SAL, while watching you. You touched a lot of projects and made great progress! And thank you for addressing my question, you are really making me want to read the Fourth wing :D I think I've seen it recently in a bookstore and I immediately remembered you. And also...get your finishes done! 😁I have the same feeling about the weather. it is always nice during a working days but whenever I have a free weekend or a day off, it is super windy or rainy or foggy. I wanted to write something clever, but my brain is not braining today - so just circle. Happy stitching! ❤
Having fun doing the I Spy Challenge and working on WIPs. Was hoping to do the trading card but I may have to wait until next time. Can't wait to see your Ink Circles pattern. Thanks for sharing your stitching and time with us.
Hi Laura Love all of your WIPS If I was you I would just go ahead and finish Cinnamon Stars since you don’t have that much more to go on it. Whenever I get close to a finish I just go ahead and stitch on that project until I do get it finished. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🦯🧵🌊🐚❤
Love your weekly updates! I'm stitching my first Dimensions gold kits - a petite called Moonlit Cabin. I've finished the crosses and am on the backstitching. You were a perfect backdrop for such concentration. Can't wait for the reveal of your ink circles piece!
Great stitching as always! Thanks for the tip about Summer Quaker-I also plan to switch the E and R. Your suggestion was great -otherwise I would have been running around in a circle trying to figure out how to modify it. 🦉🐊
I’m looking forward to seeing circle of zig and everyone’s changes to the original pattern. Thank you for doing the extra videos. I enjoyed them both. Enjoy the visits with your children.
I’m working on Current Mood right now. Thank you for mentioning the Hathaway Stitchers. Love watching them too. Need to circle back to my gnome cross stitch patterns.
I have a close circle of friends that get together once a month to stitch. I enjoy a good monochromatic piece every now and then especially after working in confetti of full coverage.
Nice to see you again Laura. I'm working on Summer Splendor by Letistitch which was my birthday start on 1st May. I picked it up on our Aussie stash unload group and I'm absolutely loving it - gorgous colours and full coverage but small.
I always enjoy your Flosstube videos. I'm doing Mystery Mania in WIP Warriors and still managed a new start today. I've started 'Bird Herd' freebie by Boomerang Stitches and it's so much fun. Love the snippet designs you shared, enjoy. circle 💗
Hi Laura. Love your smile. For May I started "Colorful Dog" ! Next week I will start knitting a Sweater, the 3rd & 4th week I will work on finishing advent Animals. Hugs ann
Starting all the projects seems to be contagious…I have more wips now than ever in my life but I love every pattern. Your dragon looks fabulous on the fiery background fabric…I am hoping this one will be framed as it will be super showy. I am working on a Quaker ornament today as I watch…all shades of blue in your honor.
I've just bought Fourth Wing to read - excited to start it! Lovely to see your progress on everything. I can't wait to see what you did with your Ink Circle piece!
This is my first ink circle - circles design and I am loving Zig Garden. I am the one who posted on instagram that I finished. I could not put it down! Cannot wait for the reveal!!
I love seeing your progress, and you stitch such a variety it is always interesting to see what you worked on each week. I have Summer quaker purchased, and also the autumn quaker, but haven't started them yet. I finished spring quaker earlier this year and love how it turned out. circle
Fantastic stitching!! I’m loving Arabesque!! Your right the border is very soothing and easy!! Working on Current Mood and Summer Quaker! You are such an enabler!! Enjoy your week!!!!
I’m working on Gathering Clover by Luminous Fiber Arts this evening. It is monochromatic and very relaxing. I haven’t stitched anything by Ink Circles but am drawn the pattern with the squirrel tree house. To circle back, I look forward to seeing your Garden of Zig.
Cinnamon Stars looks nice. I have no desire to stitch any of the things I have, so I started stitching a little Christmas ornament and bought two smalls. I think I just need a break from the more difficult patterns I am working on. Have a great week.
Beautiful, @8:14 you’re almost there! 🤩 Have fun with your window boxes. I love flowers and adding them all over my gardens. I have some bearded irises blooming and they make me so happy. 🌹 🌸 🌺
Lots of great projects! Waiting for you to circle back around to Spring Quaker to see your progress. It’s my main current wip so it’s nice to see the differences.
Love all your WIP's and your cool fabrics. I am stitching Prairie Birds by The Prairie Schooler and I am stitching it on 18 count Khaki Aida Cloth. I am also going to be starting Sweet Summer Mystery SAL by Tiny Modernist on 16 count Touch of Gray Aida Cloth. I also started Secret Garden by Tiny Modernist. I guess I am loving Tiny Modernist right now but I also want to get more of The Prairie Schooler charts. Happy Stitching.
HI! You enabled me again!!!! Dancing at Nightfall!!! Lets stitch this together and maybe others will join us also!!! I need another full coverage ... LOL!! You and I have the same taste and its so much fun when you find more designers/artists. Thanks so much for sharing and let me know if you want to stitch this together!!!
As I circle back to review my WIPs I’m appreciating your attitude about your WIPs. I’ve known from knitting I’m definitely a process, not production, stitcher. I’m feeling more and more comfortable with this as time goes on!
Hi Laura! I remember when you started Cinnamon Stars. I think you had just finished Betsy's Autumn, which I loved, purchased, and have yet to start😅. Whenever I see your Cinnamon Stars, it reminds me of Betsy's Autumn, so I say...take your time with it...maybe it will cause me to get Betsy out the more I see your Cinnamon 😅. Enjoy your time with the kiddos!
Hey, Laura!! Currently working on Flea Market Flowers to fulfill the Flower iSpy prompt. This is my first month participating and am super psyched about it!! Circle.
I have 1 new start so far, which I am working on while I am watching you. Mini Simply Meant to Be by HAED. It is a Jack and Sally piece, from Nightmare Before Christmas. It is also my first piece on 20ct aida.
I just looove your Dragon piece on the fiery fabric! Also I feel a little fomo of not doing Garden of zig by Ink circle … I hope they will do a secret stitch in the future!
I am also drawn to monochromatic patterns lately- peaceful stitching to me. I really enjoy your videos and variety of projects. Circle **Did you mention one time that you can do a loop start with one strand?? I thought it was you but haven’t been able to find it🤷♀️
Oh my word! Connor’s going to be a senior this year in college!? It seems like he was just leaving for college, time has flown by! It was 70 here in NH today and it was just in the 50’s typical New England weather, lol. I’m doing the new Lola crow Sal.. it’s a deadly Aquarium!!! You should join, hee hee what’s one more 🙂. Great video as always.
I’m working on Quaker Garden by HOD and anxious to complete the sampler and get it framed. I try to stitch one chart at a time much different than most floss tubers. BUT my basket of kitted projects is full.
Ink CIRCLE. I do have a few of their patterns but haven’t stitched any. I am anxious to try one. I have to decide on fabric that will work for me. Do you know whether anyone sells scraps of fabric? Business or stitcher? I am so new to stitching that I haven’t accumulated scraps yet. I hope you really enjoy your stitches over the weekend and next week. We are (in Bel Air, MD) expecting rain which will ruin the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival pretty much but I plan to go on Sunday with friends and slog through the mud as best we can.
Hey Laura. Question for you on your full coverage pieces. Do you have all the flosses pulled for each, or do you pull as needed from your stash? I can’t imagine how I could keep that many skeins of floss for each pattern straight!
Beautiful stitching as usual! You'll have to let me know how you like the 22 count, I have a couple of pieces from BeStitchMe and started a project on 1 but I didn't like it, I kept finding my stitches disappearing unless I stitched a very specific way which I kept forgetting to do!
Laura always a nice flosstube. Your projects are beautiful. I also stitch on Aida. I have a question . Do you wash your Aida first before you start your pattern if so your method of washing ? Also do you iron your fabric before you start?
I love hearing you talk about your children you can see how much you love them and respect them to even use their pronoun preferences- bless you Lisa ❤ circle

When you wash your piece before FFO, the holes left from frogging will no longer show. Ours is a circle of friendship united by stitches :)
