I am going through my first Dyeing for Cross Stitch fabric order while watching you. Showing your shores on Hawk Run Hollow. One of the pieces is for my start for that piece. This fabric is gorgeous. Love watching your videos. You are my "watch as soon as I see you post a video" Flosstuber. Amazing projects as always.❤
Congratulations on your finish! Hoping to get on chat some over the weekend. I noticed you have been doing shout outs. I always try to spread the word for Stitches & Sundries channel. 4 years, 77 videos and only 283 subscribers. Wide variety of projects and such a sweet girl.❤
As usual great flosstube! So glad you left arms off snowmen Your stitching is always sublime! I’m doing physio for my knees Walking is not fun but so far I don’t use a stick I’m sure it will happen as I’m 71 Phyidio is definitely helping & like you I have to get up & walk after an hour I think I may have to set an alarm as I get involved in my stitching & lose track of time! Hope you foot heels soon No fun wearing shoes when you prepare bear feet! Look forward to seeing your next flosstube
Hi Laura! Congrats on your pretty finish! Beautiful stitching and progress! I think I need to jump on the Monochromatic Monday train. I have three pieces that I could stitch on (two by Long Dog....Krozwyrd; 1 Down 3 Across; and then Bethlehem by Imaginating...which I would like to finish this year). Oh no! I hope your toe heals quickly. But also make sure you keep standing up :). Take care of yourself! And YOU are important, too! Happy Stitching!
Congrats on the Barbara Ana finish. That material is perfect for the piece. You BeStitchMe fabric is making me wanna stitch to all colors, that’s so pretty.
Nice stitching. I found out I have two torn tendons in my shoulder, so stitching is out for me for a while. I'm sad. The bright side is that the tears are partial, so I don't need surgery. Have a fun stitching week for me. :)
I am so happy to have found your flosstube channel. In the 80's and 90's, I stitched only on 14 count white or ivory Aida. I did a few pieces in the beginning of the 200's in higher counts, but now that I'm 73, 18 count is my go to fabric, but trying all kinds of dyed fabrics. I love all of your stitching, but when I saw you end with a book review, I was thrilled! I'm looking forward to seeing what you have for us in your next video. I hope you get your wifi back soon.
So glad to hear there is progress on your toe. Those things just hurt all the way to the top of your head! Take care of yourself. I started the Lighthouse SAL...so far not much showing. I love Cottage Garden charts!
I love your Barbara Anna piece! I feel your pain, as I broke my ankle and a bone in my foot in June. I was no weight bearing for 4 weeks, and have been in a boot for 8 weeks, with at least two more weeks in boot. I live in Phoenix and am always barefoot, so double hate the boot plus shoe.
I’m laughing because I chose Kringles for the Marathon prompt DOR Stitch the Summer Olympics, too. AND… I also started it in May 2020. You’re much further along than I am, though.
Hi Laura, love your finishes. It's a bummer to have to wear the shoe, when you prefer to be barefoot. I've been there. Hope you heal quickly. Can't wait for the zoom calls!
I enjoyed seeing what you chose for each of your prompts. I always love the beach and ocean related pieces the most but I don’t think there is one of your projects that I don’t like. I hope your toe keeps healing and that you don’t mess up your hips and back while you wait for that toe to heal. You might try a timer to remind you to get up and move. I use a timer to remind me to drink water and when I worked I used the timer to make me get up and walk on days that were all computer work. 😊
You inspired me to start Yellow Submarine as a birth record for my nephew who is expecting a child next January and is a huge music fan. I'm adding the birth year instead of the album date and then will add the baby's name. I even found a children's book based on the Beatles movie. I also changed the lighter yellow in the submarine to something lighter DMC 3822 because the called for color did not provide enough of a contrast.
Nice finishes!!!! I broke a bone in my foot last February so I can really relate. It was the 5th metatarsal, basically the pinky toe, but the long bone coming form the pinky so more in the foot area itself. A shoe type boot for 4 weeks and they wanted me to use crutches, but I stink at crutches so used a cane. The doctor still wanted me to wear a stiff shoe after that and I found some carbon inserts on Amazon - inserts that don't bend - and used those in the broken foot shoe. I had a follow-up x-ray in May before my trip and you can still see the break, but the doctor pointed out the areas where cartilage is filling in nicely and he said he was please with how well it's healing. So, hang in there, it will get better. I'll look for that book and read or listen to it, sounds interesting. I just finished a Rebecca Yarros book called The Things We Leave Unfinished, a love story between a British WAF (?) officer and an American flyer, their story and her great-granddaughter and the legacy she wants for her great-grandmother. There was an "I didn't see that coming" towards the end and several parts of the ending made me cry (I cray easily over sappy stuff like this!!!). It was a great book that I'd recommend if you like that genre.
I just finished 56 Days and I still don’t know how I feel about it! The only person I really liked was the female detective. It was definitely a strange book.
Love the finishes. Would like to get information about the Zooms next week. Tried to find your Instagram name or email in the video comments but did not see them. I am not on Facebook.

I just pulled my lighthouse out and realized that I made a mistake on the beacon. That means some frogging for me!
So many great projects as always! Great start on the Lighthouse! Thanks for sharing your stitching Laura!
Always love watching your videos! Sometimes I don't have enough spoons to comment, but I always watch😂

Love the stitching take care of that toe. See ya next week.
Thank you 😊
I think I'll pick up the book 56 days. Thank for recommending it.
Overall, I thought it was a good book. I’ll be interested in your opinion after you read it.
I'm a barefoot gal myself ... detest putting on socks, shoes or slippers. And, I am grateful for you ;)

Good timing with your stitching plan did you know on 27th August it is the 60th Anniversary of the release of the original Mary Poppins film😊
