I don't think it's possible for Zack de la Rocha to have an unconscious thought! Dude was woke before woke woke up!
True, I was thinking Zack don't do unconscious lyrics, they are more fitting for today than the 90's. He has a licence to print cash if he ever comes back.
Nice wordplay... Very true
True. 😂. Great Comment !!
And he’d probably give that cash to the oppressed and downtrodden. Love Zack De La Rocha and RAGE.
FACTS
RATM is pure power and energy. Thumbs up for this one.
And RAGE. if Rage and Anger has a sound, it's this.
RATM is the realest band out there, still to this day. Absolute legends.
This comment didn't age well
@@nathanscott988Rage on Behalf of the Machine
By the way, Tom Morello is doing the DJ scratching with his guitar.
Mace the guitar hero 3 final boss 😂
@@dafucksgoinon he's actually the first boss in the game.
Ricardo Milos well probably the final for me lmao, I remember I could never beat him
Seriously someone needs to warn these guys about Tom scratching that guitar 🤣
Love it!
Rage Against The Machine - Wake Up
Oh hell yeah.
Yes...this!
thats their best song
@@yzwme586 FOR ME it must be Freedom
Wake Up is a masterpiece, their best track for sure, rage in its purest form
Weapons, not food, not homes, not shoes
Not need, just feed the war cannibal animal
I walk tha corner to tha rubble, that used to be a library
Line up to the mind cemetery now!
What we don't know keeps the contracts alive and movin'
They don't gotta burn tha books, they just remove 'em
While arms warehouses fill as quick as the cells
Rally round tha family, pocket full of shells
DAMN BOY DAMN
Truly awesome verse.
Even more amazing to realize how clearly he saw it in 1996
"Line up to the mind cemetery". Thats the money line.
Speaks reality to us here in the Philippines
It was true before him.
It was true when he said it.
It is true to this day.
Loved denzel curry's version but you cant beat this dudes energy.
Scott Bradley true
Curry got damn close tho
Well, Denzel just mimic RATM, i dont think he has a chance beating them at their own game. They fucking invented a one band genre
No sir, that's the spirit and soul of rock and roll for you...
@@themakerstoolbox9688 It was a good tribute, but saying "damn close" is an insult. You wouldn't say "damn close" for ANY cover of ANY song.
When Tom starts " scratching " on his guitar always gives me chills, mans a magician!
I saw Rage with Wu Tang in the 90’s amazing show!
Weird, I saw Rage and Wu Tang at a festivel in Ireland in 2007!
Black jacks armory I saw that same tour! What a show! 😱
That sounds fucking amazing
Same here. I went to the Pittsburgh show. Think it was '97. That was the only time i saw RATM live & so glad i didn't miss it!
They both got banned from the outdoor venue in Indiana during that tour
I get the chills when he sings the verse. It's fucking powerful.
Gotta love how Rage can re-ignite that fire even 20 years later. Big ups to Denzel Curry.
Sad really. Means we haven't much progress.
Weapons not food, not homes, not shoes
Not need, just feed the war cannibal animal
I walk tha corner to tha rubble that used to be a library

Do yourself a favor and just listen to both of the first two CDs.
Also, just listen to all the tool CDs all the way through.
And the pink floyd albums
@@giacomocolturato2920 and Metallica.
Josh Kyte ye
Battle of Los Angeles is great tho, he should listen to all Rage albums
All the Slipknot albums, all the Korn albums, just listen to every song ever recorded, lol.
I don't know if I ever saw him flow. But there is a video of him interviewing Noam Chomsky.
Where they're discussion the current state of the time.
It's good insight.

Thank you Denzel Curry for bringing back Rage Against The Machine from the 90's
who?
@@dagoelius ua-cam.com/video/ZY4ywyFXdik/v-deo.html
Born a broken man, Ghost of Tom joad. Guerilla radio, sleep now in the fire, bombtrack, I could just kill a man, take the power back, so many great rage songs
Vietnow
Hell yeah! I almost forgot about The Ghost of Tom Joade! Isn't that the character in Grapes of Wrath?
@@stevenwebber7863 Yes, the Joads are the family in "The Grapes of Wrath." Good catch!
Ed Cummings YES to all of those.
Freedom
shit just do a whole reaction video of their whole first album. all of it.
That album had the planets alligned
That album changed my life, not a single bad song in it
Completely agree!! It's never once sounded dated either. My favourite album, perfect from start to finish
I burned probably 10 copies of that cd back in the day for my nephew, thanks to the "f u i wont do what u tell me" line..repeating and increasing in volume and pure rage till the blood in your veins actually boils!😈 Well im sure, like me, he probably didnt play that softly thus another cd bites the dust(his mom, my sister, kept smashing them...kinda like my mom did to our sabath albums back 40 yrs ago mainly for the cover art, if she had just read the lyrics, without seeing cover art or listening to music...not her genre.. she would have like the message/story). And of course as often is the case, that song got so much play it became my least favorite song, great song still but the rest of album tore it up ven more. Cd's lol, they still make those things, 😂
My buddies told me to and I refused for so long 😂 freedom!
You have no clue how long I've been waiting for this reaction. Love it thanks keep up the great content!!
“Walk to the corner that used to be a library line up to the mind cemetery now” classic bar
hahaha, I knew that first verse would have killed him
'hold on bro, hold on broooooooooaaaaaaaaa '
Your reactions are genuine. Obsessed with this channel right now! (new subscriber)
One of the best live acts in the 90's saw them on their first tour and their 2nd tour they simply blew the roof off both festivals they whole crowd was going crazy.
Dude your reactions are awesome, so guenine and full of positive energy, always looking forward to the next video 🤘

For real Preston! Check this out! Sadly Rage is no longer....but the singers project here is close to his freestyle. I think you'd dig it. Keep the peace and the faith!
Yes this!
Tus reacciones son las mejores de UA-cam, lo que lo hace mágico es que son reales, no preparadas, o al menos eso transmites xD
Sigue así bro 👊🏻
Love your reaction dude. Made me belly laugh and brought a tear to my eye. Zachs lyrics slay as does his delivery. Love the evil vibe of this track. One of their best
Best reaction guy on UA-cam by a million miles!!! Love your own energy

Rage Against The Machine - Renegades Of Funk
Absolutely yes.
this.
Agreed!!!
you know this was a cover song right?
So much yes! Preston...you gotta do Renegades of Funk.
I loved Denzel's version. That man went hard. Chose a very meaningful song. Rage initiated a movement that still transcends today. Fight the power.
bro when this first came out i was djing at a college bar and i dropped this track in the middle of the night and they went nuts. The owner came up after and said that song was freakin wild as hell and i loved it but dont play it again that got the crowd too hype.
You always bring it, nice end to my Sunday evening !!!

Dude so underrated
So underrated. Family system, an evening with el diablo, joyride, an island... so much solid stuff from chevelle
Zach has another project that I've heard called One Day As A Lion. A couple of cool tracks from them are Wild Internationale and One Day As A Lion. I don't know if there are any freestyle vids, but I agree it'd be dope to see/hear! Saw Rage @ Coachella and it was something not to be forgotten! Great work, man; keep it up!! 🤘

Hey there. just wanna let you know, that I'm one of the kids from the 90's and 2000's and I really appreciate your reactions! (I also love 60's, 70's and 80's music) To me it's not only entertaining, but I really appreciate your reactions to the songs and bands that formed my life. That's what music does! Much love from a girl from Denmark!
Glad you liked it! I really respect Denzel for bringing punk and metal to hip hop fans, as a fan of both, it was really exciting to see the RATM cover by him. To see other fans of hip hop also exploring punk and metal because of Denzel, is super awesome! 👍🏼
It's about time - Now for Deftones 7 words or Engine No. 9
I can get down with that, or pretty much any song from Adrenaline!
Seconded for Engine No. 9 :)

Had this song in my hype tracks for football, from my junior year in high school in 1997 when it came out, all the way up until I retired from semi-professional football in 2013. It gives you that energy to perform on the field. Great song.

Saw rage in Vancouver in the 90’s. People stormed the fences. Insanity!
SLEEP NOW IN THE FIRE by them.
THE NEGATIVE ONE BY SLIPKNOT
GET IT!!! HOW CAN U NOT GET PUMPED UP LISTENING TO THIS JAM!!!!
It's amazing that this format of reaction video's (and Denzel for that matter) have shined light on these great 90s rock/metal/whatever songs. They would have otherwise been buried with the people who would have listened to that music back then. (like me, i'm old for fuck's sake).
I'm starting to understand what type of rock music you're into. If you're going to do another Nirvana song, try Aneurysm or Territorial Pissings. Lithium you would probably like too. Also try Settle for Nothing by Rage Against the Machine. And if you're really feeling like going deep down a rabbit hole, try Through Silver and Blood by Neurosis.
David Martins those 3 nirvana songs are perfect for him. (And breed and heart shaped box too)
When are you reacting to creeping death Metallica bleeding me and anesthesia braaaaaaaaa cmon braaaaaaaaa
I hear that hip hop remix of "Sanctuary" you got going on the background, bro! That shit makes me miss KH.
Great song choice KTF💯❤️✌️
