This figure has been on my wishlist since last year when CollectA had revealed it. And being a fan of Walking With Dinosaurs, I knew that it was gonna be a firm favorite!

The Koolasuchus is literally one of the most awesome figures of a Prehistoric Creature I’ve ever seen! I love ❤️ Prehistoric Amphibians 🐸. This model is a must have for any Prehistoric models collector!

Very nice review. I recently purchased this figure a few months back, and do not regret. I would probably prefer it as 1:35 scale but that doesn’t detract from the figure.
Thanks for your comment, the size of Koolasuchus cleelandi remains uncertain if it was about 3 metres long a 1:35 scale figure would be around 8.5 cm in length. If Koolasuchus reached five metres then a 1:35 scale model would be about 14 cm long. This Koolasuchus is 21 cm long. Bigger models generally permit CollectA to show more details, so this also has to be taken into account.
Really happy to see Temnospondyls finally getting some love from model makers. (trust CollectA to make a really obscure or underrated species) as for other prehistoric amphibians I would like to see as models, my picks would be: Metoposaurus, Mastodonsaurus, prionosuchus and uranocentrodon. The last one I think is extremely underrated.
Glad I picked up the Koolasuchus when I did it's definitely a fantastic model! And it's green my favourite colour too haha , very detailed not to mention as you said Also I thought I'd add a Beelzebufo model would be nice! Although I'd want it to be small not huge and out of scale
Thanks for the suggestions, I remember the PG Tips Prehistoric Animal series from 1975 or thereabouts and a Gerrothorax was featured on one of the collector cards. I stuck it into the book upside down. As for the Prionosuchus, another super suggestion, a large temnospondyl that looked like a gharial.
You know when you talked about the upcoming Collecta models for 2023, I was wondering why Koolasuchus was neglected but I on see why. It’s because you were waiting for the actual model itself. 🙂
It helps to have the actual model to show, but we have been involved in other projects which prevented us from posting up videos as quickly as we wanted to. Thank you for your comment.

Thanks for your input, some great suggestions too. I think CollectA deserve a lot of credit for introducing obscure species into their figure range.
