    Some feathered dinosaurs i might like to see are Anchiornis (maybe in the form of a large deluxe figure such as the upcoming Dearc?), Sinosauropteryx and Mononykus

      Great suggestions, I was reading about Sinosauropteryx just the other day, it would make a great CollectA figure.

    I would love to see Austroraptor, Halszkaraptor, Gallimimus and Sinosauropteryx. All being well-known and distinctive dinosaurs known from good fossil remains that have oddly been quite neglected in the dino figure market. Quite surprising for Gallimimus especially, considering its appearance on Jurassic Park.
    If you could pass on these suggestions to CollectA it would be most appreciated! 😊

    I would love to see CollectA make Halszkaraptor, or maybe a well known terror bird, like, Titanis Walleri.

    The missing primaries on the second finger and the undersized pubis were my only issues with the images of the prototype that were released earlier, so it’s very exciting to hear that these issues will be resolved in the final figure!
    As for future feathered dinosaur toys, I’d love to see CollectA’s interpretation of Anchiornis or Sinosauropteryx as a Deluxe figure

    ok, so I'm a bit late to this video, can't wait to see this figure available. As for what feathered dinosaurs Collecta should take on next, I would advocate for ANY ornithomimid, they are such a well known but severely under represented family of Dinosaurs. Specifically, I would love to see an Ornithomimus. And while its great to see Velociraptor getting a beautiful makeover with this model, would also love to see a Dromaeosaurus and Deinonychus (I don't think Collecta has representations of either) as well as a much needed redo to their Utahraptor. Just my two cents, but thanks for the opportunity all the same!

      Look into Safari's Deinonychus and Velociraptor if you haven't seen them.

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  7 місяців тому

      @@relicthominoid Both Safari figures are good, the Deinonychus for example has the fused second and third fingers, same for the Velociraptor model, but i don't think there is enough evidence for Velociraptor for that configuration. I would also recommend the Beast of the Mesozoic raptors, these are also well sculpted.

    Very nice video. Great model frm collecta for 2024 . I hope they will keep making such models in future. On the other hand their dreadnoughtus was poor. I think its made only for kids coz Dreadnoughtus is so bulky n large

      Thanks for the kind words about the video, we try our best. I take your point about the Dreadnoughtus it is a dinosaur I don't know that much about. I actually have a production figure in the office, I will try and take some pics and videos and post them up on the Everything Dinosaur Facebook, Insta and X (Twitter) pages.

      Sorry for the late reply, our store will not charge you additional taxes, in fact you can purchase tax free. As for additional duties and fees, this is somewhat out of our hands as it depends on your Govt.

    Hello, I would like to place an order, but I don't understand what the difference is between the shipping options. I also want to know if they can be sent to Mexico and the arrival time.

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  7 місяців тому +1

      Hi, we have many customers in Mexico, you have a choice of shippng options, standard airmail (which is not tracked) and the signed option which is tracked. Large orders heavier than 2 kgs go by Parcel Force another tracked service. As for arrival time, deliveries are a little slow this time of year because of the number of parcels in international mail networks for the festive season. Deliveries normally take about 10-12 working days. For further advice and information email info@everythingdinosaur.com

    I would like to see
    CollectA nasutoceratops baby
    CollectA nasutoceratops corpse
    In the same colours as the nasutoceratops.
    Plz I am doing a nasutoceratops scene and need a herd with calves (or whatever a baby ceratopsian is called) and a theropod eating a corpse in the distance.
    Also if not a 1:20 scale einiosaurus the same colours as the 2017 einiosaurus.

      Thank you for your detailed suggestions, good luck creating your Nasutoceratops scene.

    • @tazhakkim4660
      @tazhakkim4660 4 місяці тому

      @@Everythingdinosaurdotcom Also is a baby ceratopsian a calf or something used only for ceratopsians? BTW if any of these get made then any nasutoceratops themed scenes won't just look like dinosaurs lined up with all their heads pointing in the same direction.

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  4 місяці тому +1

      @@tazhakkim4660 The terminology for dinosaur babies has not been formalised as far as we know, the use of the term calf is perfectly acceptable to us. This leads to a wider debate regarding collective nouns used to describe dinosaurs. A flock of Nasutoceratops doesn't sound right and just like animal's today there are lots of collective nouns used to describe groups, such as a school of whales, a pride of lions, a mob of kangaroos etc. As for a baby Nasutoceratops, both Papo and PNSO have made baby Triceratops models. You could modify the model by trimming the small nose horn to make it look like a boss, then you can paint this figure to match the adults. Juvenile ceratopsians had very different ornamentation compared to the adults. If you want further information just email info@everythingdinosaur.com

    • @tazhakkim4660
      @tazhakkim4660 4 місяці тому

      @@Everythingdinosaurdotcom The papo baby triceratops looks more like a nasutoceratops than the PNSO one but painting it would just be a hassle as where can you buy collectA dinosaur paints ?
      CollectA probably keeps their paint blends a secret or other people would buy one collectA dinosaur then make a silicon mold and make thousands more and then paint them with collectA dinosaur colours.
      And If I mixed colours to make nasutoceratops colours the grey on the body would be too dark or too light and the red on the face would be wrong too.

    • @tazhakkim4660
      @tazhakkim4660 4 місяці тому +1

      Update:I'll use a PNSO triceratops baby as the baby nasutoceratops.
      And sand down the horn with sandpaper,also colour the head black with a sharipe marker, also maybe baby nasutoceratops were different colours from the adults eg
      Tapirs and grebes.

    Why is he so hot-headed? Why was he put in a four-legged stance, it's a bipedal animal. And couldn't it have been made more compact?

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  7 місяців тому +1

      I think the issue is balance. If you wanted to pose the animal in a dynamic way, then it would be imposible to do so just using the hind legs for support. The only other option would have been to put the model on a base, but CollectA does not like doing that as model's on bases do not sell as well as models not on a base. Hope this explanation helps.

    • @player21099
      @player21099 7 місяців тому

      @@Everythingdinosaurdotcom There are a lot of dinosaur models that can stand on two legs without a base and without a third fulcrum.

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  7 місяців тому +2

      @@player21099 Yes, you are right, there are lots of examples of bipedal dinosaur models, most are tridactyl, unfortunately with Velociraptor this is not the case. Many model balance issues are resolved by making the feet oversized to help overcome stability issues. The problem of balance is exacerbated when dealing with a dromaeosaur such as Velociraptor as it walked on just two toes (on each foot), this provides additional challenges when getting a figure to balance.

      @@Everythingdinosaurdotcom If the legs of this velociraptor had not purposefully fallen forward, and also had not opened their wings, then this could have been done without increasing the legs. For example, deinonychus from Safari Ltd has such a design.

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  7 місяців тому +1

      @@player21099 Deinonychus from Safari is one of my personal favourites. If I recall correctly, on my figure the model is stabilised as the tip of the tail rests on the ground.
