Judging from this, the gt350r has more of a growl which I like more, even going low rpms(around 3k) it sounds amazing, after u hit rev limiter(8250) and let go u here all those pops and crackles😍😍

@@Chobe-ti8wx the gt350 and gt500 share the same motor... a 5.2 voodoo coyote, the only difference is the gt350 has a euro style flat crank while the 500 supposedly does not.

As much as I love the sound of the new mustangs, it’s just so nostalgic to hear a canned pushrod 5.0 with the uneven thump of the cam. Something that is loud even at idle. Although the flat plane coyote is lightyears ahead, there’s something about the rhythmic beat of the old 5.0 that’s incomparable
Here is how I would dscribe the revs:
Normal- not neccessarily very loud, all natural
Quiet- yeah, pretty much qieter than the other modes
Sport- yeah, thats good, revs high easily, and sounds badass, wow reached Redline
Track- really sounds badass, could even easily reach REDLINE when reving.

Turns out the flat plane crank wasn’t needed to get that sound lol. This cross plane 5.2L sounds very similar to the 5.2L voodoo to me.
Alot of parts from the voodoo motor was put on the predator motor
Apparently the firing order Ford uses is what allows the sound despite crank type.

Doctor Kiwi the displacement is really it primarily. They’re all heavily coyote based. The 18-19 Mustang GT even has a similar sound now too.
I don’t think it sounds like the voodoo all that much. Muffler design is probably near identical though.
