The Lamborghini Revuelto is BACK, and it’s going up against some crazy opponents!
First up we have Mat in the BMW M3 Touring, and on the far side of the track, we have an Audi R8 V10. But this is no normal BMW or Audi - they’ve both been tuned and now have insane power outputs!
So let’s check out the three contenders. Starting with the Lambo, it’s powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 along with three electric motors. These combine to produce 1,015hp and 1,062Nm, and the car weighs in at 1,772kg. All in, this car will set you back at least £450,000!
Then we have the M3 Touring. The normal M3 Touring has a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six that can deliver 510hp and 650Nm. However, this one has had a full engine and gearbox rebuild, and as a result, it now delivers 1,000hp and 1,100Nm! The car weighs 1,865kg, and the cost of the car and the upgrades combined is £135,000.
Then finally we have the Audi. It comes with the same 5.2-litre V10 as the regular car, but whereas it's normally naturally aspirated, it now has a couple of turbos strapped to it! As a result, it can now deliver 1,000hp and 800Nm! It’s the lightest car here, at 1,580kg, and all-in this car cost around £100,000.
So can anyone pick a winner? Surely the all-new Lambo has to snatch it, right?! There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

That tune on M3 is actually a steal lol, 500 hp for 35k. Fully built engine fully built trans
but its still a BMW it wont last at all and late 9s is slow for this level of power
and it's still not the fastest m3. There is already 1476whp m3 that runs 0-200 in 4.38, 1/4 mile in high 7s and 0-100 in 1.72s. s58 is really a masterpiece)

@@satareppe that’s not what I mean. The breaks are obviously good because they still have them on the car from stock. You usually upgrade your breaks based of the power to weight ratio. The stock breaks are more than good enough still to manage & track 1000bhp m3. That’s impressive

In some of the drag races, Matt talks for 20 seconds.... In a 10 second quarter mile. The Lambo braking lights are on and suddenly the BMW catches up very fast. If the German car is better but double the price, it's just better. If the German car is worse but a bit cheaper, uhhhh what an awesome underdog.

A normal M3 Touring is truly a sleeper car. This modded M3 Touring is a whole another level sleeper car that can slay pretty much all supercars and even some hypercars.
Modded M3 Touring even is as fast as Saleen S7, Lancer Evo IX TIME ATTACK and MP4-12/C.

It has perfect 50/50 weight distribution and you don’t need to spend $35k to make it run 9’s.
1 hypercar, 1 heavy tuned car and a f*cking wagon. You see how well made is that M3 stock and also how well made is the tune.

imagine paying 650.000 euro to then get tailgated by a 20 year old Sedan or family estate which were build in a small shed and bolted together with hopes and prayers for 30.000 bucks and also turn out to be more reliable then ur brand new hypercar.
I saw a tuned 1050bhp Vauxhaul Monaro utterly destroy every tuned BMW like they were nothing popped a 9.1sec hes done late 8s in the past. He payed £17k for it years ago and spent £20k on mods for it around 2022. When i say it whooped every BMW i mean i flew past them at the 8th like they had stopped.

I think everyone is starting to realise the new line of BMW, m340i, m240i, m3, m4, m5 cs etc are all kings of the streets right now because they finally come in xdrive in the UK. Only back then the diesel, non m-lite or m bmws came with xdrive in the UK.
Even in USA right now theres tuned BMWs running 7/8 seconds flat on quarter miles. It boggles my mind how a 3.0l twin turbo with xdrive can dominate supercars etc. I need me an M340i 😭

What an amazing race and maximum respect to the M3 tuner!! What I don't understand is in the final race you can see multiple times the rear brake lights are ON in the lambo (Eg 6:26). Is the lambo braking? Gear shifts are now indicated with brake lights?
You know what would be awesome matt? Three M5's... all tuned to 1000hp... but from different tune up shops. Just to see the difference in set up, turbo lag, etc. May have 1000hp, but everyone has a different way of getting there. Thanks for awesome content from SA

Yea the tuning job matters ALOT. Ive seen 700hp m3s run faster quarter mile times then that. In the 9.3 range. I was expecting it to win by alot more still though.. I would love to see the difference between bugatti's as well. Chiron, chiron ss, chiron ss 300+, divo etc. All same engines, different hp, and different aero setup. That'll be interesting

Not in this cold weather 10.4s is more likely. 1000hp Porsche 911 Turbo s achieved 9.9s on carwow so revuelto and the BMW is fast.

@@jozefjozefczyk3936 I think a tuned 911 achieved 9.7 sec at one of the carwow’s videos before. Imo with a proper 1000 hp tuning it can go under 9.5 sec. If The Porsche decides to make 1000 hp 911 at the factory that would be even more crazy something like 9.0 sec 😁

10:39 correction Mat, the R8 does have launch control in dynamic mode. You just need to press and hold the ESC button in the centre console.
Tom Wrigley has really worked their magic on that M3. Upshifts are absolutely brutal with no let up at all considering its a torque converter gearbox.

When doing the car sound check, if you rev the car in Neutral instead of Park, that should remove the soft limiter.

@@AndrewTSq why electric motor provide instant torque that's why it's launch was good with awd otherwise it would have struggled for launch

R8 with the turbos sound for the win. An M4 cabrio though with 1000hp gotta be a must-do.
As always great video but one suggestion I’d make after watching for years is investing in a higher quality microphone. I’m mean… you got the money for it
