Hands down one of the best sounding V8’s. I have stainless works catless x-pipe and Borla s-types on my 2011 GT500, can’t beat the sound of Borla

This is one of those cars where IMHO no exhaust mod is needed...track mode sounds like a symphony!!
If you are considering these pass on them. I ordered the Borla ATAK in September of 2021 from my Corvette dealer. They did not arrive until a/4/22. It was so long I decided not install these and had found another product available. Borla with not having even made them yet refused to cancel the order. Grudgingly, I had them installed and low and behold it has an issue that generates a sound like you have a fan belt that is loose. So now I have to order a replacement for 3 to 5 months from now while driving what sounds like a souped up '72 Vega. The candle on top of the icing is that Borla will not pay for the require labor to remove their faulty product and install the new set. They do not have good customer service and will not support you their customer.

Good lord I’m not gonna lie, if I could afford a 2020 GT500, I’d leave it bone stock. Exhaust and all. It sounds great stock already.
I agree, was just thinking the same thing... Stock it sounds glorious, nice deep and rumbling, really great idle.. i personally wouldn't have gone with the Atak, it's far too metallic and high pitched, changed the whole personality of the sound, not as much muscle anymore
He has headers so it's not fully stock.

Factory stock in Track mode has such a gorgeous deep rumble that I don’t want to change mine.
It sounds good stock but this is on a whole new level of agression man, and combined with the dct gearbox it's awesome !

Upper revs are crazy good with the Borla. I have the ATAK on my Hellcat with catless mids and it's ridiculously loud.

My GT500 has the same issue with active exhaust, sprayed some lubricant inside the valves. They work when warmed up but not cold.. They seize up from condensation and stop working or wiring harness Frys.

I have kooks long tubes and borla Atak on my 6.2 Silverado and it’s crazy loud, I can only image how crazy that sounds in person. Nice video!

I put a Mopar cold air intake and the Borla ATAK on my Ram Rebel. Absolute insanity! Cold starts are fun. Merging onto a busy highway is fun. Red lights are fun. I love it!

What’s the benefit of going with borla attack instead of just piping through one of the active valves?
Usually what I’ve done in the past, with different muscle and exotics that have active valves, is just piping through the sport exhaust side on the OEM setup.
Afr longtubes, catless h and of course Borlas. That's what I'm rockin' they hell of expensive but well worth it

@@Ronald282828 I literally was just about to edit the comment and change it from 10 speed to 7 speed, after reading the specs and seeing it's a 7 speed auto. No wonder why it doesn't sound the same way the 18+ GTs sound with their 10 speed, because it's not a 10 speed lol.

I have been hearing that is a common occurrence on these cars the wire harnesses are to close to the exhausted and they get burned you are not the only one to have this issue they need to have a recall for these cars on this issue

No trust me the LT4 on a 6th gen Camaro sounds the best with the Borla attack. Nothing better than a cross plane crankshaft.

I have an 09 and want to do some intake and exhaust upgrades and looks like this might do it for the exhaust upgrade. So quick question, there are 3 different modes of loudness?

Videos don’t do the sound justice but comparing it in attack mode from stock to Borla how much louder would you say the exhaust sounds? 25%? 50? More? I have a 2020 500 and looking at doing the exhaust on it.
It’s about 25% louder not much but definitely noticeable
