That young (very young) bass player is doing a masterful job filling very big Chris Squire shoes. I'm beyond thrilled seeing these young musicians knowing/enjoying/playing classic YES. Jon Anderson must be on Cloud 10. Awesomeness.
YEAH!!!! Amazing performance from everyone! The wind? Just makes it all better. Jon remains on point. Rock Acadamy remains on point. This is AWESOME!! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPAPAP!*
It was a great concert, and the wind luckily did not ruin everything, except the sound here. I was so impressed by these young artists, especially the drummer, bass player and the two guitarists shown here first. The girls where excellent too and many of them are already excellent musicians, even if i can not be seen in this clip. Jon was in great shape and surely enjoyed it all.
It was WINDY, indeed (actually they were about to stop the gig because of safety reasons, luckily they didn’t - 1000 thanks to the responsible and SENSITIVE management of this festival!!)… Somehow, the wind adds up for a very special and unique LIVE atmosphere, I think (that’s why I ended loading it up) 🌬️😌🪁.
Good job guys and girls....Parts a little shaky but good job, its not an easy song, good bass player also!!!....and guitar player is really good, nice tone also!!!
@@michaelsoto5542 Never said they didn't. I've seen several high school and GC band competitions where they played amazing. I guess a whole bunch of people just assume that high school and GC bands suck, but I never said that at all!
@@HIPCHIP You said "looks like." I doubt that any of the performers would take that as a compliment. This is not a court transcription. How language is used has many implications & the vast majority of our communication includes tone & body language which will never appear on a message board. I really bristle when people confuse looks for talent. As a 38 year music educator I have directed many student performances (many not as good as that group) through the years as well as playing keyboards professionally since the 60s. Yes music is very deeply arranged & orchestrated. They're not doing a pick-up jam of Blues in E for the show. Their effort to play at that level with Jon Anderson was enormous & they were exemplary. They went beyond just hitting the right notes, (& there are a lot of right notes to hit) & gave a performance worthy of being on stage with such an extraordinary singer as Jon.
Jon having a great time with these talented kids. ❤
Saw them last week in The Netherlands. Way to go Addie! 🎤🎼. Great singing.

Wow, great to see the Maestro Jon inspiring all of these young people to help keep the music 🎶 alive, but Yes music will live on forever!
Fantastic guitar playing.

I guess this old guy was just tired of being surrounded by all these old guys.
Close to the Edge during a wind storm....lol.
Another reason for Steve Howe and Co. to hang it up.....
Who's the drummer?
Looks like a high school talent show or something from Guitar Center.
Who cares what it looks like? They played great!
