- Today, in this reaction video, I am listening to Lithium by Evanescence for the first time as this metalhead reacts to Evanescence and gives you his opinion on Lithium. So, as a casual Evanescence fan, I know the three main songs everyone knows which are Bring Me to Life, My Immortal and Going Under, so I am excited to see if this one lives up to the standard of greatness that Evanescence is known for from those main hits. This is my reaction to Evanescence and my first time hearing Lithium.

I highly recommend going down the Evanescence rabbit hole. They don't have one bad album, and each offering sounds completely different - and stronger- than the previous one; but they still manage to stay authentic and true to their sound.

Amy Lee & Evanescence are the greatest symphonic metal band on earth. Amy's angelic vocals and the hard 'grungie' backing make them a match made in heaven. God bless Amy, she's quite incredible. 🙋♂ ❤

@@cudahitz Most of what you’ve heard is from her younger years. Her voice has ages very well and has a little deeper and richer tone to it now. Some other songs I’d suggest. Far From Heaven, Speak To Me, Lost In Paradise(the version of just her and her piano). So many more!!!
Hard Rock and Metal are the genres I'd classify them in. Evanescence is my favorite band. Check out Amy Lee with Seether on the song Broken.

I've seen Evanescence a few times. Amy is even better live. So amazing. Watched sound check and I was blown away by how effortless it seems. The whole band was humble and so kind to all of the VIP... Lots of hugs. Omg... Amazing❤There are some great Rock Singers. I love Lzzy Hale..... And then there's Amy Lee❤❤❤❤

Evanescence - Feeding The Dark
Awesome! I’m glad to see you appreciating some techniques and details in the songs. If you want to be impressed by her breathing you can listen to The End of the Dream live from the Synthesis album or the rock version. Both are incredible.
Something different that I think you might appreciate is actually a Lindsey Stirling Song- Love Goes On and On - featuring Amy Lee. 🥰
Two years ago, Lindsey sent Amy her instrumental and asked if she had time, would she throw some vocals on the track. But Amy Totally surprised Lindsey with gorgeous lyrics as well. Her pure vocalisations in that song just sent me.😇Straight to the heavens mate😂
❤ Amy and Lindsey’s friendship is a blessing to the world. They even toured together and they performed Shatter Me. It’s a song Lindsey wanted Amy for but she was pregnant at the time so she got Lzzy Hale from Halestorm to do it with her.

After all these years The Open Door is still my favourite Evanescence album! I love most of their album The Bitter Truth as well, but I listen to this album more. 😅
Lately my obsession has shifted to The Warning, a young and energetic Mexican rock band made up of 3 sisters. They went viral with a Metallica cover when they were younger, but now they are opening for bands like Foo Fighters, Muse and Halestorm.

Amy doesn't really get her full do. She makes sound so easy. But it's not. Thet list the top female's singers and Amy is nowhere to be found. It's criminal. She's one of the best ever really. But somehow gets overlooked. One list didn't her but her Britney Spears of it. My God that insane. Spears sounds like a dying cat. If you're a female singer and you're not better than Briteny Spear you have to be just horrible.
