      The regular RX-350 is easily the best of the bunch. Perhaps next (2) year, when RX-350 will be on the TNGL platform, it'll be a better Hybrid, but not a better car. Only flaw with this model, is that everyone wants to steal it.

      @@vinnyvinny7542 We did purchase it new. There were a few things we had to bring it back for (TSB and software updates). There are few things I don’t like: The hatch is electrically operated and takes a while to go up/down, the middle seat in the back is pretty small, some wind buffeting when one window is down. Correction! The rear windshield wiper is not designed for aerodynamics, it is designed so that it never has ice and snow built up on it and it doesnt have to lift the snow off. It uses gravity to push the snow down and off. Much better design.

    Base model RX-350, that's gas only, is by far the best (best bang for the buck). Get it now, before electrification screws-up it up...the sum of its parts and world class assembly-line makes it punch above its weight class. 8speed with small first gear can take a twin-turbo v6 when getting the jump off the lights. Well dampen suspension makes it a tool that someone like Paul will appreciate (now that he know how to hustle a front drive biased car around the race track).

    We got a used 2016 NX F sport for my wife a couple years ago. Great looking car and the interior is beautiful with the red leather and stiching. Infotainment is definitely outdated though even for 2016 standards. If you have a family it's fine as a secondary vehicle but wouldn't recommend as primary. We have one infant in a rear facing car seat and the front passenger seat has to be put all the way forward. Wife then sits behind me. Everyone's comfortable but not an ideal set up if you have more kids.

    I think it depends on how much $ your sister has! I own a 2016 NX 200T, just an excellent vehicle, goes like hell, of course I live in Ca, no snow to worry about, I paid $41.5 K out the door. If i go someplace and need more room I take my 2012 Sienna XLE. No worries, just love the NX though,
    made in Japan, can't find anything at all wrong with it, 1 thing though, it only gets about 29 M.P.G tops, but at only $4.69 a gallon now it's o.k. with me, the book says to use 91 octane as it has the 2 stage turbo. I am super happy with it. I found that 89 octane gas works fine in it, you might lose 5 H.P with it, but that's OK with me. It doesn't ping.

    Hi Guys; On April 1st, I purchased a UX250h here in Reno, NV, I traded my 2006 RX400h, which I bought new in 2005, I loved it but I decided to buy this new, it is not always easy to get into, but I have learned how easily.. One thing I don't think you mentioned is the fact it does not have a spare tire, but the are instructions on how to drive 100 miles on a flat tire, which could happen here in Nevada, as there is a lot of open spaces, like going from Reno to Las Vegas. Anywhy so fare I am getting basically I am getting 45MPG, but mostly in town. Where I live very hilly, plenty of power, and the gas tank only hold 10.8 gallons which is fine with me. I am happy with this vehicle. Thanks for the video.

    none of the Lexi has total volume cargo space when put down 2nd row seat than 2013 Honda FIT (2nd generation). I was able to fit a 50 Gallons water boiler from Home Depot and closed the hatch door with driver and passenger on board. Also can fit 5 bicycles or 60" TV is a piece of cake.

    hilarious that when he said the NX is easy to get into at 2:30, he looked like bumps his head on the way into the car LOL! Great video still! Just noticed that little blooper, but i could be wrong.

    go for the non-turbo engine. you can't put as much miles on a turbo engine. At 120k the turbo's will need to be rebuilt. You can drive an RX 350 for 300k miles

    I’ve had the privilege of owning a 2021 Lexus NX 300 Premium. The quality ride is great and love the handling. I bought the vehicle not for its technology, but more so for its reliability. After owning a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Sport that’s plagued with its engine issues, I decided I needed a reliable car that I can take out of town and not fear it leaving me stranded like the Sonata. I’ve read some of the comments posted on here where people speak so negatively about these automobiles, but I doubt they’ve ever owned a Lexus SUV. These vehicles are made more for consumers who appreciate reliability and not so much up to date technology.
    The reason I didn’t wait for the new 2022 NX is that the new model will be built in Canada and not Japan. So I’ll have to wait a few years to see how the new model holds up to the quality and reliability Lexus is known for. 🙂

      You are right not to wait for the new model that made in Canada, Canadian made quality is not as good as Japanese made

      @@becoolenough Thank you! That’s what I’ve always known, not only from family members that have owned the Canadian built Lexus RX 350 and consumer reviews online. Apparently the Canadian built Lexus has many issues and doesn’t hold up as well as the Japanese built Lexus models.

      @@r.m.s.605 I have owned the 2015 RX450h and 2017 RX450h f sport and now the 2021 RX450h f sport, they are all made in Canada and they all have some minor issues more or less, Now the 2021 one I found that the voice control not functioning right after coming out of the dealer, don't want to go back to dealer during the pandemic, I had to google it and figure out the way to fix it, smh

    • @r.m.s.605
      @r.m.s.605 3 роки тому +1

      @@becoolenough Wow!!! That’s not good. In my NX everything works perfect! I can’t complain, it’s a heavy well built automobile. I understand you wouldn’t want to visit the dealership during Covid, but all dealerships are being very careful and disinfecting customer cars before returning them. That way you get your RX fixed as soon as possible, since it’s brand new.
      By the way what’s the worst issue you’ve had with your Canadian built Lexus’s models?

    • @becoolenough
      @becoolenough 3 роки тому +2

      @@r.m.s.605 The worst issue was the 2017 RX450h F Sport engine shaking while accelerating, I went to dealer three times to have the issue fixed, it was very frustrating experience since that dealer didn't do their job right, first time they took half a day got issue "fixed", the second day I found that still the same so I take it back to dealer again, this time they took 2 days to get it "fixed" and I have to bargain with them to get a loner car, they told me the issue was one of the injection nozzle not working right so they replaced it, this time I got the car back from them and immediately found that the problem was still there, again they took another 2 days to find out that the issue was they forgot to program the ECU or whatever after they replace the injection nozzle..., you know, it just feels like "Made in Canada" and shoddy dealership are working together in destroying the reputation of Lexus

    400H FTW! Just IMO....good gas mileage for a luxury truck, and great power when you charge the battery 🔋🔋🔋 all the way up with the (B) gear ⚙️ on the shifter.
    Mines at 200k running strong....and I had to drive it through a flood 🌊💦🌊 4ft deep water. Bulletproof truck thru and thru. Amazing daily driver that's fun to drive with AWD for snow michigan roads.
    This way I get to drive my classic cars in the summer 😊😁😊
