I like making rapidfire emp pacs in conjunction with a beeg piercing one, more or less the same idea as this (soften up their stuff with funny electricity, punch a hole clean through)

EMP is definitely a lot more real of an option now than it was when we built the Singularity. Before the EMP changes, it could survive a direct hit from a 2 km max overclocked EMP PAC because of the absurd amount of heavy armor in the nose. It's sort of fine as it is though, there are other SD craft I'd like to give a once over before going back to the Singularity. Glad to finally see the MW though.

Emp works really well sometimes, but it still has too many flaws for a main weapon. The biggest issue is that if there is enough connected heavy armor, the emp charge will never look outside the heavy armor, so a craft like the singularity is fairly easy to make almost 100% emp proof.

FYI we're currently waiting on EMP vs HA changes to be finalized before putting EMP protection back into it so don't get too hyped about it lol. Also more super dense SD godly craft bricks coming soon(tm)

borderwise discovers mid-video the EMP nerf changed EMP defence so much that all the campaign craft need to be redone.
Though if you want singularity specific tips:
- The LAMs on the snig dosen't target APS shells less than 100mm calibre
- Multiple small craft mince frontsiders in general
- Thump missiles always hurt
- Rushdown CRAM craft work well too when chasing from an angle as the snig will run and the relative motion curves the cram shell path

It seems to me that the Singularity is covered in mimics. Haven't played in forever, but Piercing PAC used to leave visible holes for sure.

Always did multiple rings; got pretty good packing in five full rings into murder hydra PAC. Got one I haven't finished yet, in a satellite named the Salvation.

Also if youre looking for a good aps shell to use against the sing for some reason AP-EMP works really well. It knocks them in the water really fast.

Sniper lens with an input port is only better than a bare sniper lens/vertical or scatter lens with an input port at ranges above ~2200 m, so even against the snig it is just barely at that crossover.

I like having a person controlled boarding vehicles so if they sink I can just board and capture. Also do you think FtD could have more faction in the Future?

Up the particle count in the options menu... but only if your CPU can handle it. 👍

You built a 1000m pac and left the focus at 100%. I find this silly, as you lose so much damage from having focus that high.

The Snig sits 2km away from the PAC. High focus is essential so the dang beam doesn't miss.
