The Joshua Tree Highway in Southern Nevada

We take a drive on the Joshua Tree Highway in Nevada (State Route 164.) This highway runs west from the town of Searchlight, NV to the California state line. The area is notable of its large stand of Joshua trees, which are unique to specific parts of the southwest desert of the United States.

That is almost as lonely as Highway 50 used to be.

Yep, it's pretty lonely out there. Someday I'll get back up to Highway 50 again. I just don't know when.
