Just wanted to share this. JESUS CHRIST died for you on a cross for our sins. 3 days after his death he resurrected and was, is, and will be The TRUE LIVING GOD. In a prayer repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and also ask for the HOLY SPIRIT to come into you in that same prayer as well. Have FAITH in CHRIST. You could come to Jesus Christ as you are, but once you accept Him, you are new, changed, and are born again. Turn away from all wicked ways. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. God Bless You. Praise only be to God. JESUS CHRIST IS COMING BACK SOON.

@@Courtesyflush52 True that. You lose if you do and you lose if you don't lol. It's definitely a better financial decision to stay with your parents for a while if you can until you can save up enough money to afford a house or to just get a job where monthly rent for an apartment aint gonna have you living paycheck to paycheck with barely any money left for you to spend; but it's also annoying af to live with your parents since they will definitely complain at you for the smallest things no matter how successful you become.

When i was 10 my dad told me he wouldn't pay me an allowance but i could "get a job". I was 10. He took me to a thrift store and loaned me $20 to buy a lawnmower that i had to fix myself, and started mowing the neighborhoods lawns on a regular basis. I paid dad the $20 back for the lawnmower. Well months later we are at some big dinner with my dads Navy buddies and i wanted to be nice and offered to pay for the dinner and pulled a roll of $20s out of my pocket.
Dad didn't let me mow lawns after that because he was embarrassed his 10 year old son had more money in his wallet than he did as a Chief in the Navy. He sold my lawnmower in a yard sale. I didn't get the money for the lawnmower.

I was cutting grass around the same age. Also, I picked up bottles on the roadside and construction sites. Back then, stores paid a 3 cent deposit on bottles. I made decent money for a kid. Your dad taught you a valuable lesson. I don't know why he made you sell the mower.

    • @nny156

@@scottw5315 He was pissed off. My dads never been good with money. He made great money from being in the Navy but he always spent through it all trying to look like he was richer than what he really was. So when he's reading through the bill for dinner that night and questioning the waitress on how much this was or why that was added, and his 10 year old son is like "it's cool dad i got it" and pulls a roll of $20s out, he got red in the face and made me sell the lawnmower.
I'm the opposite, I've always been good at saving money but i tend to dress and look like I'm broke when I'm not.
Years later i was working retail and saved up enough to flat out buy my first car brand new off the lot, and my mom joked that i had more money in my bank account than my dad did as an officer, and he was furious. He demanded i put him down as a co-signer to "make the rates lower", and then tried to use that to steal the car from me when i went to college. It didn't work and i still have that car to this day. My wife drives it now and i do all the work on the car myself. I learned how to work on cars through UA-cam and a buddy of mine that's a mechanic and i save a ton of money that way.
A few months ago my dad called me up trying to talk down to me about how I'm broke and cant afford some extravagant vacation they planned in December, and when i laughed and told him i could easily afford that he got mad and started demanding i give him money. I laughed at him and said it sounded like he was broke and needed money from his "broke son", and he hasn't spoken to me since. It's been really nice and peaceful since then and my wife and i are getting ready to go on another vacation today.

He was a career company man for a long time then the big recession saw him unemployed for several months and then he went back to work as a temp contractor so we’d have jobs for a little while and then be unemployed for weeks to months again until he got another thing. Show meet him very understanding of how tough it could be to find an actually good job and how long the process can take. At the longest, I think he was unemployed for something like six months.

I’m not even joking when my dad has asked more than twice a day to get my job back even though I already had it back. I was supposed to start a week after my sports season and Dad was still up my ass about getting the job back.
