Fun fact: The order the remaining party joins is determined by how long you use used them for links. The more you link with them the sooner they join. Alvin is easily the first one because he's the third party member and his A.I. move is excellent against bosses.
I love how each character uses their mystic art entrance in the order of their battle participation. Having my main party all come to the rescue like that was awesome~

Your attacks look so cool and coordinated in all your videos. I usually just button mesh, then do some special attack when the meter's full and hope for the best. lol
The first battle against them (Jude) took me ca. 6 minutes on normal mode, Lvl. 68. In my second run (Milla) I was 82 on hard mode and it took me 26 minutes.. At least I didn't die xD
I was really surprised when I used Jude's Mystic Arte to finish off Myuze and he and Milla used Tiger Blade Sigma on her, such an epic end to such a hard fight!
I did this at like level 67 and hard I was too lazy to level up my party so I decided to go with the flow I fully stocked on all my items and 5 omega elixirs I had 5 life bottles left and it took me 35 mins to beat this battle this boss was a bitch if I didn't train Elize I would have lost the battle so many time but I beat him on my first try and for my first tales game that not to bad great game glad I got it and also glad I got introduced in this franchise now Symphonia and Abyss here I come

I played this on the hardest difficulty and sat on this fight yesterday and couldn't beat it. Tried it today and in one go that lasted a whole hour I beat them.
I've finished Jude's and Milla's sides and my god Xillia was amazing. I love the story, characters, and its battle system. I can't wait for Xillia 2. (Mainly because of its story, and the HUGE amount of content)
If I remember right, the order they come is determined by how much time that you linked with that character. In Jude side, whoever has spent most time with him linked (except Milla) comes first. I might be wrong, but I read something like that.
Took me around 17 minutes to beat it on hard. Muzét kept healing and I had to keep reviving someone every other minute. Omg, It felt like eternity @_@. The party levels were from 61-65
Leia is your childhood friend. If you knock Muzet down while linked with her, she'll nab that Heavy Treat and prevent her from using it for the rest of the fight. Note that the item heals 60% of both her and Gaius' HP.
Yo Omega, you plan on doing a playthrough of Tales of Symphonia \whenever the HD collection comes out? I think all we Tales fans could use a trip down memory lane......only in HD!
She has "Angel's Cry" a skill that Elize also has that automatically revives herself with about half HP. Gaius also has an Omega Elixir item that he can use, which in effect, heals the entire party's HP and MP, revives from KO, and heals all status effects, so perhaps that's how Muset was "healed"
I passed this boss on hard, took me 30 minutes and 3 tries. I also used all of my healing items and life bottles. To me this boss was a 'one more try' moment for me. But I loved it and the theme in this fight was just amazing! I can't wait for the second game to come out.
I came to check how much people were leveled up and ended up finding a really nice video. I do have a question I hope someone can answer. It's kinda silly: how do you switch between attacking Muzet and Gaius? I didn't realize the first time I died that she would regenerate and I had locked onto Gaius instead.
Thanks anyway but eventually I did beat the game. Man did that screw me up. There's so many little functions so some of these games that I don't even bother to use so I forget about them.
Does the conversation change based on what mode you're playing on? Cause I don't remember this at all. When your party members first enter the area that is. Also what determines the order that they show up in?
Small spoiler (also apologies from anyone who hasn't seen TOX2 yet) it's hard to believe that the same folks you're fighting here. Wind up as party members in 2. Even though the MC is completely different.
I finished it yesterday and it took two tries. I think i was one normal difficulty, but the first time I was trying to take Muzet out first cause she was weaker but ended up dying. the second time I focused on gaius and ended up switching to focus on Muzet while linked with leia so that Elize and Milla could link and focus on gauis. Then I just made it so everyone was attacking gauis. Soon he was dead and we attacked Muzet and I thought she died and was like YAY FINALLY! but she tricked us and we started to attack her again. I was really annoyed by their healing because I had both of them about to die and Gauis started using absolute domination and killing me and their HP kept going up -__- and it was funny because in the beginning before any of the others came to join us, I charged gauis and he took me out pretty quick and then leia came in and was talking to the dead jude on the ground. lol anyway my order was Leia, Alvin, Rowen, and then Elize. It makes sense if its based on how much you link casue I was always linked with Leia to heal the party and use steel with her and then always with milla and alvin cause idk they just worked well with me. Then rowen cause we had a lot of linked artes we could do and elize was very occasional because she always died quick but had some good moves. But i beat them with Elize, Leia, Milla and Jude :) I hated the boss as I did it but looking back love it :)
wow so much damage!! and i'm using the same weapon as omega (which is valkyrie wing) i think his party lvl is about 70 or something... i got stuck on this boss when muzet keeps healing and healing... the battle went for more than a hour and resulting in a game over... this is some hard final boss...
Not really if you keep on the heat on Muzet she won't be able to heal and you can kind cheap this boss with Judex Rowen. Make sure Rowen has the power to freeze enemies whenever he sides steps use Jude ability to dodge and you will keep them frozen without them doing much that one way or you can use Leia to steal their items since Gauis has a Omega Exiler.
The last part of this battle was very cheap. Gaius and Muzet constantly spammed the limit break attacks as well as healed constantly. It was very easy until they were both low in health.
I went all out and played this on hard difficulty. I lost twice due to Muzet's constant heals, I don't even know how she healed all her health. I beat it on moderate difficulty ._.
yea the presentation was ok. one of the things i didint like was that the arrival of the final dungeon was anticlimatic. like in all of the tales games when that final dungeon came, you felt the weight of the world come down and it felt more like now or never. thats not so much the case here
lol they used mystic arts on me nearly 20+ times, I just could not seem to dodge them, and if I ran away, they just triggered it on my ally and then both came at me with a bloody second one, muzet fucking 1 healthing everyone and then him just boosting over for an easy 1 shot >.
Took me almost 100 minutes on Hard. Part of that was because I got skittish and used an all-divide. Part was just sucking at the game. And the last 5 or 6 bosses before these guys were so easy, too!
This boss fight is bullshit. I was trying my damnest to beat it on the hardest difficulty, but Gaius here kept using his mystic arte and immediately going back into overdrive to do it again. Even going down to moderate didn't help with the fight taking an hour and half just because of said above reason and Muzet healing so much.
I hated Muzet with a passion. It took me so long to take her down despite all the damn items she was using to heal herself and trying to rely on Leia at the same time. Right when I took Muzet down, she auto-rez'd... At that point I said fuck it, and just started teaming on Gaius.
Oh god this fight was annoying. theonly way i could stop her from spaming treats was to get leia out and steal it from her. Took me 30 mins total to finally beat this boss just because muset did not wanna let go of that treat.
Time for the Final Battle! Everyone Vs Gaius & Muzet! :D Gaius & Muzet are both strong alright. Also, because of all of his powers, Gaius now looks more Kingly then before. A powerful King indeed. :D While Muzet looks normal, she too is now stronger too. ;) I'm surprised that Jude & Milla hold off long enough for everyone to make it to the final fight against Gaius & Muzet too. Glad they showed up before either one was finished. ^^ And after that, the tide is turned. Now everyone on the good side gets the upper hand in this fight! :) :D XD Jude & Mills's Linked Arte, Twin Lance (At 5:52), was awesome as well. :) In face, EVERYONE'S Linked Artes are awesome & very amazing! XD Loved the unique auto Mystic Arte usage when other party members appear to help Jude & Milla. First Alvin (At 2:38), then Leia (At 3:14), Rowen (At 3:56) & finally Elize (At 4:47)! This I like to call a Mystic Arte sneak attack! XD Now this is how you suppose to get the upper hand in battle! Also, I know how hard this boss will be first time around. Seeing as how both Gaius & Muzet can use Hourglass to stop time. But with that same upgrade (which I'm starting to think it's Rowen's or Milla's Skill) with the ability to be able to use Hourglass freely was pretty useful during this fight. Who knows how many tries other players, including myself, would have during our first try. :D So glad you defeated Gaius & Muzet in this Final Boss, Omega. :) Outstanding & Amazing work, man! :) :D XD ^^

Elize at a high level and the omega elixirs are the key.
Yeah, the only way I'd believe omega did this on hard that quickly is if he grinded up to like level 100 before hand.

Gaius is a badass, but he'll never be as badass as Kratos or Yuri.
RPG's bosses like this are cheating like crap I'm stuck on the final boss for an hour . i don't like it and I'm done trying.
