I still think it is such a cool detail that the cutscene between phase 1 and 2 is different if Luke/Tear aren't in the party and depending on which character P1 is
Damn, I always thought I was decent with Guy back in the day but Omega you are a gawd! Abyss was probably and still is my favorite tales games. Watching these videos really takes me back. Keep up the awesome videos Omega XD

Enduring around 15 minutes of constant pressure and not making any noteworthy mistakes is impressive as hell. That was a really fantastic run omega and I’m glad you got so much support. I really love how you’ve been able to extend your combos without relying on Dragon Tempest all the time during the run. It was also very nice to see some underrated Artes like Soaring Light Spear. Im new to this game and currently on my second play-through. All my character has all the ad skills already. I just cant figure out how you were able to combo all those arte. Any guide for newb here?
Well Van had Lorelei trapped inside himself who is the spirit of the Seventh Fonon. And if you remember what happened to Mohs when he tried to use the Seventh Fonon it's not really that surprising why Van gets a purple arm.
He kind of unleased Lorelei's full potential, so to speak. Thus resulting in the strange appearance. Rather than keeping it dormant and allow him to exist in a corporeal form for longer, he is using all of that power at once. Or most of it, at least.
i never knew that there were different conversations depending on the character you play as because i always just played as luke are there others as well like with tear or jade also really close call with the ground dasher guardian frost combo after celestial elegy

i think if luke is in the party it will always be his conversation and if tear is in but not luke it will be hers but i'm not to sure on that

Yes, but you still can't use Brilliant Overlord on a first playthrough. It is a missable sidequest, that's why I said to look at a guide
