Hands down the best automotive journalist on the interweb. Hopes he makes enough out of this to buy the Stratos. He’s earned it. Twice over. Original, passionate, honest and knowledgeable to the point where your brain stem tingles. Kudos to the entire team for the quality of these pieces.
How is a man this talented at reviewing epic cars barely doing anything? Jason, your review on the 911R is still my favorite review on the 911R. And then you drop this. Masterfully shot, drastically scored, and properly written. Well done. I say well done.
So the 60k , 3.5 s to 60 Corvette make your day??? “Fok” the Corvette!!! Jason Cammisa is back MTFs!!!!!! Great to see you! We , the latín american Car youtubers, salute you great lord Sandler.
60k for a Corvette or 750k for a chop job on a Ferrari. Plus you actually have to have the Ferrari to begin with. Somehow, I don't think that's a strait comparison. BTW what was with the pantslessness of the video? Does it not have AC or is the trans tunnel just radiating heat?
@@redlion145 If you really think people with the money to buy a Stratos are gonna wanna buy that 60k Corvette some kid just got to start his UA-cam channel, that's definitely not a straight comparison. Sure it's great that Corvettes are going to be mass produced MR platforms, but sticking the engine behind the driver isn't going to by itself make it anywhere near as special as this.
Welcome back, Jason. We've missed you. Say, bring something by the lot sometime. 10/10 we'll tow it. That'd be kinda fun, right? Seriously though, great video.
The Lancia Stratos is a beautiful car, have only ever seen one in my life and that one was actually being driven on the road! Great to see a modern interpretation.
Motortrend should be screaming now this video is good and I missed this style of video it's fun (a way that works and it don't feels forced) it's informativ and the cinematography is awesome
I hardly ever comment, but welcome back. Your passion and presentation style is pure entertainment while being an automotive education too. You are a rarity and that is why there are tons of the positive comments. I look forward your next video and/or article. Thanks for reminding us what a quality video really is.
We’re incredibly lucky to have a selection of such amazing car channels with knowledgeable and passionate presenters!! Absolutely love this channel, Jason. I remember being a kid back in the 80’s & 90’s waiting for Top Gear to arrive on BBC @ 8:30 each Thursday, to think that I can watch these uploads whenever I want is amazing 🤩 The production on this channel is top notch!
As a 70's kid I LOVED the Stratos, and there was 1 in Houston, texas that I actualy ALMOST got to buy. UNFORTUNATLY , I pulled the trigger on a 67 GTO instead, and have kicked myself in the ass ever since. The Stratos was just a bit more than I could afford, not to mention they were no longer imported and the one I looked at needed REAL work to make it street worthy again. I WILL one day have one though.
OK, OK... is this the official place where we can enjoy Mr. Jason Cammisa genius? Well that was one of the fastest "subscribe" hit I ever did :) Glad I found it!
Jason, really happy to see you back on the air. Loved the car, obviously, but also your sense of humor and beautiful production values. This was far closer to what made the original Top Gear so great to watch than anything else out there right now, including what those three are doing on Amazon. Congratulations on your return, and the great video. Really enjoyed it.
The Alfa 4C, when viewed from the side, has the Bertone line similar to the Stratos. Small, wide, and short, it's the perfect platform for a new Stratos.
I have a great respect for Luca di Montezemolo. He did amazing things in Ferrari. But trying to kill the Stratos project was the worst bulls**it of his life. Italian cars often put a big smile on your face....yes, they sometimes have strange problems...but usually they have some strange solution. And this video was really great. Thanks from Italy
It's great to see Jason C. back on YT, and making content just as good, if not better, than the occasional solo Ignition reviews and H2H comparisons with Johnny back in the OG MotorTrend days. (pre-MT's sad, sad suicidal fall from glory all because management got greedy and tried to cash in on something they didn't fully understand) BTW, my name is also "Jason", and so I'd like to thank you, my fellow Jason, for bringing notoriety to the name by doing something other than slowly chasing down and dismembering teens/young adults with a machete while on their spring break/summer vacation.
One of the best, if not the best presenter in the whole world. Every time amazing presentations, so much character.. i'm so glad you are back!! I've missed your videos so so much!👍👌🙏
Good to see you again buddy, charming and joyful as always, will love to see you on and on again taking cars like this and give your peculiar review we need buddy
Incredible production and presentation. Glad to have you back sir.

Jason, James, and Thomas. It would be a dream come true for petrolheads around the world.

Damn Jason you have no idea how much i've missed your voice . I'm so happy rn.your passion really shows.
same
I was just thinking the same thing. Anyone know how I can train my voice to sound more like him?
Agreed
He sounds like a Deadpool that is swearing or making sick jokes
Ian * - same here.
The original stratos itself is a timeless design. But it also impressive how the design for this new car is 20 years old, yet it still looks great.
The Stratos is almost 40 years old
@@beamer8907 Huh? It came out in 1973.... so as of now, its 50 years old. Okay, the original.
And your both wrong 🙄 he is referring to the "New" one not the old one so its probably around 9-12 yrs of age
@@bong4538 Er... we're talking about the original Stratos. Not the new one.

I miss you on UA-cam. Do more reviews.
Finally Jason is back. We missed you man. Very happy to see u back doing car REVIEWS. You are a natural at it.
I really hope this channel grows because it's up there with the best as quality. As a bonus we get Jason, what's not to like?
Best ass quality? You should say “bad ass”, just saying haha
This is one of the cleanest refreshed designs ever!!
Finally! The Videos we want about the cars we want with the guy we want! It's all here again
this, indeed
Haven't watched MotorTrend since Cammisa left tbh. Good to see you man.

I'm glad Jason stepped out on his own. It was his videos that attracted us to motor trend in the first place.
Good god, I missed watching Jason reviewing a car!! You haven’t lost anything in your time away!!
I can see him being the new Clarkson.
Put him, Chris Harris, and Henry Catchpole in the same show now
He's good, but he'll never be on Clarkson's legend status
This ^^^^^^^^
I'd 1000% watch that
Holy shit... This would be the BEST trio ever.
They can't be all alpha males. Clarksons TopGear is a really hard recipe to be reproduced
It's videos like these that drive my inspiration! Love it. Looking forward to many more.
I subscribed because of Jason Cammisa, well played.
Good lord this is so much higher production value than I was expecting. Well done!
I left motor trend when they stopped airing Jason. Glad to have you back, hope you develop this channel, we can never have enough you Jason.
Glad to see Cammisa back to what he does best. Excited to see this project grow, good luck!
Jason Cammisa i can listen to you talking about cars all day long !! What a great channel
Incredible film making chaps, UA-cam has missed you Mr Cammisa!
Im so glad Jason is back, i haven't watched 1 episode of head2head since he left. Now we just need to get the other half of the dynamic duo over here.
I have been waiting for this moment for 2 years
Dude, you’ve been so missed. Glad to see you back! Your talent is unmatched sir. F those who didn’t recognize it.

So glad this avenue for Cammisa content exists. Really impressed with these production values too, eager to see what comes next!

Great review of an epic car. First time I have watched Jason and in my opinion he should be on his own Top Gear.

I hope they sell a couple of these. Such a cool concept.
They have been selling them for a while now.

Also enjoyed Jason Cammisa WAAAY better than Johnny Lieberman. Good job Cammisa
Lieberman is great too, always liked his stuff. But Cammisa is better.
I love it. Love love love it!!! So much passion and feelings, amazing presentation. God bless you Jason.
Welcome back Mr Sandler

How did Adam Sandler get out of his Netflix contract to make this video?
They are fans of idol, some actor or actress...

Jason Cammisa - Profesionnal Idiot 😂😂😂😂
