No Apologies necessary my dear enthusiast, and thank you for all the good work you do in showing us poor wretches the cars we drool over and can't afford , but see them thru your eyes and efforts, a Big Big Thank you !
There are very few people in this world I like to shake a guys hand and get 5 mins to chat to, Jay is one. Great Video with an out standing car, i've always been an Italian fan since doing my apprenticeship in a Fiat Lancia garage.
That moment when you know that Jays about to spend alot of money. Lol.
RIP to the owner. I scrolled through his instagram when he passed on, he seemed like a very beloved man.
My first love is the Stratos. Thanks for showing it Jay. You made my month!
Lovely to see the Vincent in the background behind the car lift. Thanks Jay, the Lancia is indeed one of the most beautiful cars ever built. Totally drool-worthy.
When my son was young and we were living on Okinawa, they had a "supercar" show. . .they had a Countach, several Ferraris, a Muira and several other 70's "supercars". . .and a Lancia Stratos. . .it was the first time I had seen one and I fell in love, especially when they sat there and revved that engine. . .thanks for this one Jay 👍👍
I remember when they launched this car. It took everyone's breath away.
Me too ! I was 16 then, I had never seen such a beautiful, agressive thing before.
It still does. That thing is a work of art.
RIP John Campion, a great Irishman and a great American too. Right up to the end he was passionate about developing young Irish motor racing talent and that continues on in his name. A great legacy.
Chris Harris and his episode on the Pirelli tire testing with Lancia, even Chris was speechless/scared s***less after riding passenger with the greats such as Ari hahaha
Thank you so much for posting this one. I love the Stratos and play with a Matchbox model at my desk daily.
No apologies needed for lack of crew, Jay - just love this! Unbelievable car, and as always thanks for sharing the vicarious experience with all us gearheads and non-gearheads alike! Keep 'em coming !
