Big wall climbing was super, thank you for sharing that great effort! Be safe on the way back and have a nice comeback to all the gym/training regime. We're already looking forward to the next adventure
Great video Magnus. I think I prefer these self shot and edited videos. Watching every single one as they come out. Keep up the great work. If you're ever in Ireland there's some amazing trad crags here.
In the mountains and in the cold, when you see someone struggling to talk properly, shaking, confused and not making much sense, looking given up and not caring anymore... you got yourself a case of hypothermia (probably alongside other severe problems like dehydration). It's usually a sign that someone is on the verge of a disastrous situation and needs rescue or at least some help to get to a safe spot and be taken care of.
What an awesome vlog! I was wondering if you could spend a minute or two explaining the belaying setup in such a setting. For example your crazy anchor :-P
Its Not cracy, its pretty solid, 5 gear palcements all equalized with a long sling, so if one piece rips in a fall there are enough other pices so the climber and belayer don't fall to the ground
What a fantastic view into tough, real, outdoor climbing. You are a couple of tough guys! Thank-you so much for sharing your interesting life and such interesting places. I hope to visit Norway as soon as we can travel again. Summer 2021 I hope!
Hey magnus this Type of vlog is amazing i live in austria and the Last few days was just rain and it wont stop but your videos really cheers me up man thanks for that! You are an awesome climber/vloger keep it up bro!! Greetings from upper Austria! ;)
was thrilled through the whole video. exciting, wholesome, raw and learned something. Everything was great about this video. Martin is a great man and companion. I hope he had a good rest after freezing and being dehydrated. You too, of course.
That was a wonderful video, thank you so much Magnus! Greetings from Denmark. Last year I did my first motorcycle trip to Norway, a 30 day round trip. I went straight up to Nordkapp from Kristiansand and then spent the rest of the trip cruising south and seeing as much of Norway as I could. An absolutely wonderful experience! Of course I visited Lysebotn, and saw Lysefjord from sea level. It was great to see the fjord from this viewpoint as well. Thank you for your great videos Magnus! :-)
When most people go on a trip they sleep at a hotel or a rented hut. Sometimes they also bring a tent and sleep out in the wild. Magnus on the other hand climbs up to a ledge 1000 meters above the ground, and goes to sleep. The day after he climbs down and goes home.
Thats wild running out of water must be scary. It seems like you guys werent prepared for the weather, I am surprised it took you over 3x your estimated time to ascend.
Epic shit Dude and a superb VLOG! I had a smile in my mustasj when you said "7 hours of climbing" in the last VLOG.. ;-P Great partner, thanks for sharing Magnus
I’m very impressed Magnus . not that I wasn’t already impressed before . I get dizzy from high places and this place is beautiful and enormous.. Sköl 🍻
Reminds me of a multipitch I did, 20+ pitches (28 if I am not mistaken) the topo was saying "Should take about 8 hours" it took us 12 hours and even though we soloed everything below 5 and simu climbed a couple of pitches ... I still wonder if it was a typo and it was meant to be 18 hours. Also ran out of water. Always tricky because it is heavy and you do not want to carry too much but not enough can be dangerous as well.
I couldn't imagine multi-pitching in Martin's shoes, the testarossa's... I have a pair and they're the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had and I sized them at my street size, 1-2 sizes above what I have had for every other climbing shoe haha.
i must have missed this video in the past, I love the orange Petzl Backpack. Do you remember the diameter/length rope you guys used? Stu Memphis, TN, USA
Good job you two! One question, are you belaying the second with 2 Petzl Micro traxions, or you only have it as a back up? What did you use to belay the leader? Thanks!
When you're forced to spend the night on the wall but the night is 1 hour long.
Literally one of the best climbing videos I've ever seen.
Just a raw climbing adventure, thanks for sharing!
Kinda wish u did something like this again every now and then :)
Yes with normal girl cuddeling on the ledge
@@vincentkrause7097 She gets scared of how high boulders are.
Same
I know right. Seems like a mind blowing experience.
Martin wasn't even tired at the end. Dude was completely unfazed the entire time.
These last few episodes have been great! Keep up the good work, Magnus!

Underrated video

That's the spirit of a champion! Keep it up, Magnus.

That was Nutz! Magnus and Martin, I'm glad you got to share this story with us.
Absolutely incredible. Easy to see where a million subscribers came from.
at around 13 minutes it feels like Lord of the Rings, when Frodo talks to Sam about the taste of strawberries :D
Really loving your vlogs lately, Magnus - it's inspiring! Please keep doing these!
Such a good Vlog! It is so interesting to get in inside view of a wall climb. Keep up the good work :)

What a journey. Happy you guys made it safe. Didn't anyone notice that: "See you after the nap... or never"?
15:13 everything is hard when it's wet...
roblux1 everything is wet when i'm hard
Thats what she said
First time I hear a guy complain about a wet crack...
@@marfnl2 You mustn't have seen Adam Ondra's latest vid then :P
"It's hard when the crack is wet"
"This is my third time and by far the wettest"
So beautiful..
My heart rate is through the roof watching this
Me to. I can only watch these kind of videos 2hen they use ropes. I cant watch free solo without totally freaking out.
Loved the episodes.
“My silent little friend”
I waited for the chapter like I wait for the second part of good movies jaja regards from Chile Magnus
Everything is hardet when it's wet. Damn magnus
Thats wild running out of water must be scary. It seems like you guys werent prepared for the weather, I am surprised it took you over 3x your estimated time to ascend.
Martin has nerves of steal. Definitely the lifeline Magnus needed. Never underestimate a wet wall.
Totally awesome. What an epic.
Your da man Magnus!! Great video.👍
I've walked for that period of time, but to do it while climbing is awesome.
Really enjoyed this series Magnus-great job.

Jan Eivind Danielsen +1 for 'mustasj' :)
It would be so cool to see more of this!
So many reasons in this video to not go climbing. But is just too great to stop xD
That looked so hard! Well done must be really fun.
O my god, I managed to watch till 3.58.. I think I need a break now. This looks scary 😅
Awesome episodes!
Amazing content, keep it up!
That ledge nap looks terrible. So cold in contact with the grass and rock
my palms are sweating, humans are awesome
Keep climbing without sleep is insane

Always tricky because it is heavy and you do not want to carry too much but not enough can be dangerous as well.
You could have taken a parachute with you and have a pretty nice base jump 😆
They'd probably fall asleep mid air though.
What's wrong with climbers, I get dizzy when standing on a chair.
whats wrong with you? see a doctor, thats not normal.
Magnus (obviously suffering severe hydration): I almost forgot about water though... 😂
You can see its hard for him to speak because of the dehydration
Amazing trip!
I could not watch the entire video because I am afraid (more like phobia) of the void, but otherwise the view must have been incredible!
This looks hard core. It also looks dangerous, e.g. if you guys got too tired to climb or too tired / dehydrated to be safe. But super cool.
Driving back while that tired has gotta be one of the most dangerous things in the video
@Jason Voorhees proof of your claim?
@Jason Voorhees ah a baseless claim. Makes sense
@Jason Voorhees ah man you got me. Super jealous

Wow! The view O.o
Ser ut som dere hadde en bra tur! Lidelse er en viktig del av turen ;)
haha what an epic adventure :D!
@3:20 Magnus doing his Anton impression.
Anton and Magnus r bay
I dont know how you guys can trust the material you use that much. I would freak out! But I really want to try one day, I'm a bit contradictory
Magnus had an epic :D
This is so good - Magnus I know your indoor vlogs do better but please keep making these!
Took 25 hours to complete. 🤯 wow that's intense.
i must have missed this video in the past, I love the orange Petzl Backpack. Do you remember the diameter/length rope you guys used? Stu Memphis, TN, USA

Previous video was ok to watch. This one makes me fear for my life =D
beautiful, incredibly challenging, remember it forever
wow!
that was some scary shit!!
is this the famous base jumping location?
Epic!
That seemed brutal! Was it worth it? What's the next trip?!
they smiled
so cooool
Magnus: thousands of feet up in the air-
Also magnus: im suprised it is sketchy
I love your channel man! but i tell you what is sketchy ... filming while belaying!
This video was freaking swell, I say.
great video! What are you guys using the 2nd micro traxion for? one is for hauling obviously, but the 2nd one?
Please do some alpine climbing again
daaamnnn didnt know magnus did trad as well
Good job you two!
One question, are you belaying the second with 2 Petzl Micro traxions, or you only have it as a back up? What did you use to belay the leader?
Thanks!
"The crack is wet and it's very hard." :o)
Would love to see a multi-pitch in 2021!
