Salem hey, I usually don’t do this, but it would be awesome if you had the time to listen to a few of my songs on my channel. They’re inspired by Hitman and other espionage type films/video games. I don’t like it overall. Way to big a map very hard map to SASO. Lots of waiting around to kill the Mailstrum. Also those street enforcers are bloody annoying. Can’t even walk through the normal streets in any disguise without them being suspicious of you.
@@Marto2168It's one of my least favorite maps too. The skyscraper and the train yard are great imo, but the slum streets suck. Hi - her chords come from a class of music called "Hindustani Classical" and "Carnatic Classical" - these are like the (CDEFG) of India. I've learnt classical Indian music for sometime so I recognized her chord. You can look for similar music - she is using a SA RE GA MA - which is C D E G but she is using D# or what we call half RE. You can look for these runs. Sorry for the long para 😀
I took a shot. And damn. The first few moment of the string playing make me super alert. Remind me of going into a shoot out with the guards while in dawood apartment
Vanya’s theme fits a lot. Some parts show the outside, that she is the queen of the Mumbai slums and that she is treated with respect. However, the intense parts show her true dark side. She wasn’t always the queen of the Mumbai slums, he was a killing machine in the Maelstrom’s crew. She is one of the last surviving members, and that she wasn’t always respected.
Man if I'm not wrong the music for when the kashmirian and the maelstrom meet is not here. Thats such a shame. E: Just checked in-game, it's actually just a completely stripped variant of the music that is playing during the crows nest. Only one instrument, very mysterious.
The map surprisingly make me feel like home. I dont love anywhere in india nor im ethnically indoan, but i do live in a somewhat packed city life and seeing this map made me feel like at home
All these soundtracks are great that you posted from all the different Hitman Levels, but you should have cut out the "Combat and Hunted" clips that just repeat exactly the same on all the levels. Like from 25:00 to 28:00. It's just repetative. The point of listening to these is listening to the distinctive soundtracks to each level. Having the "FRANTIC Combat" soundtrack inserted in all these, as well as ending soundtrack (Extraction) just pulls the listener out of listening to the good stuff. I catch myself fastforwarding whenever the calm soundtrack suddenly jumps to making me feel like I'm going to be shot by security at any moment. :(

Personally I prefer the music of Bye Nielsen than that of Jesper Kyd. Nielsen's music fits perfectly into the open atmosphere of the different maps and gives us a unique theme for each target. For the main theme of the game, the music of Jesper Kyd easily wins the day, but for the music during the game, the music of Nielsen is stronger and more creative.
