Awesome music, awesome map with a superb twist on the Hitman formula, and the light show double kill is easily one the greatest assassinations in *all* Hitman games. I was astonished when that kill happened.
Seriously, the fact that YOU had to hide from the ENEMY is such a 180° spin in the formula, and it made up for one of the hardest and best challenges in all the Hitman trilogy
I loved the way Berlin is structured in the Campaign and how you play it for first time No weapons No info No Target Markers You just start on a road with almost nothing Skills tested to the max ❤🤘🏻
Berlin is such a great level especially since it came out during the quarantine. Made me really miss raves at the time and the atmosphere of the level along with the on your own situation at the same time
Berlin - Rotterdam Argentina - Chile Delgado Villa Dubai - Las Vegas arabic hotel Chongqing - Chinatown in Absolution Dartmoor - Beldingford Manor Paris palace- Paris opera Hokkaido - Rocky Mountains/California (Flatline) Vermont - California (A New Life)
I really appreciate the fact that I can listen to it without the club reverb effect. But by listening to it closely I notice the bridge and climax sections do come a bit too much out of the blue. I know that into the game this track is used in a somewhat modular way but as a simple music composition this detail is not great. I don't usually listen to this genre but I really like this tune and its atmosphere.
The only thing I don’t like is it seems quite random, something anyone could write in an hour or two, no real sense to the music at least for me. Would’ve appreciated a slightly more thought out composition
The reason is exactly what you have described. The track must be modular with sudden changes, so it can be cut to several parts and looped depending on certain actions and situations in the game.
@@Notolderthanyou It's interesting you mention that, because at one point during the mission, there are a pair of npcs talking about how 'you don't want to waster your life listening to bad music like this.' I think part of the point is for it to sound like typical, uninspired club music (with a Hitman twist).
my mission in hitman isn't to kill the targets. knock out all the guards without being seen except for just 1 useless guard. can do anything I want in my favorite maps and have the Choice of bringing back the guards at anytime by showing the 1 guard the pile of guards and they all wake up and return to their position. I always pick the hardest level cuz there's more people to mess with. also the knockout guard pile is bigger too.
Ah yes, the nun level from Absolution, except good, because the ICA actually acts like the ICA instead of just some dickhead paramilitary group with a religion-based S&M kink. Granted it would've been even better imo if there was a few ICA agents actively hunting AROUND the entire map looking for you but what we got was still a really good hunter and hunted scenario that honestly is one of my favorites in the series as a whole.

Niels Bye Nielsen did a fantastic job on this trilogy, the guy doesn't have to blush to Jesper Kydd IMO.
I realized years later, but around 5:00, you can hear the WOA Trilogy theme. Absolutely brilliant !!!
