I went shopping at Walmart to find some healthy items along some new ones!

Can you do a video (or a list) for people who want to gradually change their diet and eat more clean? What are the first steps/changes they need to do? Any tips for easier transition? Thanks
Cut out foods with [lots of] added sugar, that's probably the single most impactful change you can make. Next would be to prioritize whole foods and minimize processed foods. Good luck :)
Start with your meat if you eat it, and cutting out seed oils and transitioning to using olive oil, avocado oil and virgin coconut oil. I think that's what he would say. And eat your veggies, avoiding dirty dozen items that aren't organic.
I think it's almost better to go "cold turkey" junk foods,)highly processed foods. In my experience, when I cut them out, I stopped craving them within a couple days 👍 the only thing I would be cautious w, I don't recommend adding too many fruits and veggies all of a sudden. BC it may cause too much gas from all if the fiber, increase slowly.
We started slowly by just switching to organic produce, the sticker shock might be a deterrent but places like walmart, Aldi, and costco make it very affordable. We also switched our cleaning and personal hygiene products to clean and natural products, something that most people oversee.

publix is THE most expensive store in my area. we r swamped w/pulix and hardly any other choices, (thanx to the board). glad that u can afford to shop at publix. aldi's for moi.

My Walmart (Texas) has the name Wonderworks KETO cereal with three flavors: chocolate, peanut butter, and cinnamon. Really good!

Depends on what you cook. The less processed foods are cheaper. If you go all organic on fruit and vegetables for now. I don't know your situation exactly. But I do know organic fruits and vegetables are like maybe only 25% more than conventional. I signed up for this misfits market box. Saved lots of money for organic produce. I make my own baby food.

I noticed that the Teaonic had licorice root.. Just a warning for those with high blood pressure. Licorice root can make your blood pressure skyrocket.

I usually get Grape Nuts cereal at Walmart. I also bought Ezekial Sprouted Cereal at Sprouts. Loved it.

The 18 pack of vital farms pasture raised eggs are about $6 at Sam’s Club, Very very good. Oh, and the 100% grass fed beef is a good price too.

That Vanilla coffee also has alot of potassium. They should use organic Vanilla extract for flavor instead.

I recommend you check out Keto Connect’s channel. They have a 1yr old who started out eating egg yolk. They feed him some of what they eat which are mostly low-processed fatty animal foods, veggies, and fruits.
Acerola juice together with orange juice is the best for vitamin c , I used to drink it in Brazil. ❤

Thanks for the mention about Handsome eggs. I used to buy them a few years ago when they were from New York State and called Handsome Brook Farm with a completely different look. They were absolutely great with deep, orangey yellow yolks and a beautiful flavor. They stopped selling them where I am and I’ve been seriously pining for them ever since. Now it sounds like they’ve literally “sold out” and the quality has plummeted which makes me sad but let’s me know I can just let go. Now if I could just find my replacement for those which I also loved and is no longer sold in my area since just after COVID started...Carol’s Pasture Raised Eggs or Heirloom Basket Eggs. Sigh!
