Bobby, I used to work at Meijer yrs ago learned most major stores have ex.: Scope mouth wash - meijer brand mouth wash same thing. Just 1 example. Most people don't know that so they usually go for the scope.
I have Alpha-galactose 1, 3 allergy, aka alpha gal or meat allergy and I am so excited I found your channel! What a wealth of knowledge you share, thank you!
You totally missed one of my favorite things in the Finds! Right by the sausages was Sartori Grated Parmesan. It’s just Parmesan - no fillers, no cellulose, etc. Just grated Parm. And I pay $6.99 at my regular grocery but this is only $3.99 a bag!! BTW: Kerrygold butter is $4.69 at my stores unless on sale! It’s only just shy of $4 at Walmart and the Kerrygold cheese there is less than half the price at my regular supermarket!
Thank you for this video! I went to my local Aldi and was able to stock up on the grass fed beef and the Zevia tea before they sold out! Spent $$$ but will be set for awhile with very healthy foods that are delicious. Your amazing content and explanations have helped me on my nutrition journey. Much love and peace!!!
Hi Flavcity! I really appreciate the Pure Irish butter and definitely the 100% Grass-fed organic beef and lamb( seasoning too). I also like the way you said how the grass is fed! 💩 You're right about the Cheesecake Factory dessert being scary with all of those ingredients! Take care! 💕☮
Hey Bobby check out the plant based yogurt at Aldi. You will love the plain. The texture and taste is awesome especially when adding moerello cherries and a bit of bee pollen and honey
I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your advice and knowledge with us. I must say although I do not eat beef anymore, I have always bought the grass fed beef from aldi, walmart, or publix. I must say there is a huge difference in taste and smell. For years I did not like ground beef because of the smell and taste until I tried the grass fed organic beef. That's when I did a taste and smell test between grass fed beef verses regular store brought beef. Let me tell you the difference is a lot. Definitely a win for me on the grass fed beef. My family loves tacos with ground beef sometimes, so I make it with grass fed beef only.
Bobby, thank you for your educating videos; these have been changing my life. Slowly we are pushing out the bad and adding in the good. Our biggest weakness is ice cream. Can you do a video on a keto or healthy mason jar ice cream you can make or do a rundown on what to buy and not buy when eating clean and healthy? Keep being awesome!
I like Aldi. Thank you for good review! I love lamb! It's so testy. I will go to check this deals out for sure! It is a good practice to watch your videos before going to store. Couldn't wait for video about Costco. I found grass fed beef patties at Costco yesterday, was so glad.
Bobby, you need to come up with a recipe for flavored coffee, specifically blueberry crumble. Do it just for me please because the flavor got my mouth watered. 😁
So much useable & pertinent info. Great video. The closeups are really good, can actually read them. Thanks. Liked your, “enable smell-a-vision”, comment. LOL. I have thought in the past that sugar alcohols are not any better than regular sugars & may actually be more harmful. Any info? Going to check out the protein drink. Thank you so much. Take care, stay safe. Blessings
I notice the Aldi 100% grass fed beef come from different countries. You told us EVOO and avocado oil are best when it's derived from one country. Doesn't that apply to beef?
Here is Bradley O. How long does sugar stay inside your body? I'm trying to cut out sugar, corn products & others so that I can start feeding my gut bacteria with good food instead of sugars and high fructose corn syrup and other crap. Trying to feel better.
In the UK Aldı, their own brand bottled spring water is very soft, and very good, and Kerrygold butter is raw, and one of the best butters available in supermarkets.
Aldi in the U. S. is Aldi South. Trader Joe’s is owned by Aldi North. The company split way back when and one brother got each half. They have some suppliers in common but they’re not the same company. Aldi stores in any given country except Germany are all South or North; in Germany part of the country is one company and part the other.
I got the ground lamb as well...... that was a very good find..... everyone makes lamb burgers..... well we are indian..... we make meatballs on the grill using a cast iron skewer (been using this for at least 40+ yrs this skewer.... btw is a custom made skewer from India) with this..... and I bought 8 lbs of this already...... going to be a good few weeks on the grill.... wish I could post a photo of that on here but sadly this platform does not allow for that....
I'm confused about sunflower oil being inflammatory but sunflowers aren't? I noticed Dessi put ground sunflower in her flaxseed crackers. Would anyone be able to explain? Thanks!
When you process the oil you're left with mostly omega 6 fats that easily go rancid. Whole food fresh sunflower seeds are healthy, old rancid oils are not.
You're in south Florida?? Me too. We have lots of different Aldis to go to here. Fun and great prices. I also go to Costco and some items in Whole Foods.
About the ground beef, the frozen, organic hamburger patties at Costco are, I believe, $3.99 per pound. Would you still recommend the Aldi brand or go with Costco for cost savings? Thanks!
Hi Bobby 👋 thanks for acknowledging the Sodium in the nutrition information. Its important that people watch that in their diet as well. Thanks for all of your awesome videos. Very educational and informative 👌
I know he did a video a couple of weeks ago where his MIL was cooking kefta. If you do a google search of “Flavcity lamb”, you’ll see a few recipes including his kefta recipe. If you search “Flavcity kefta”, you’ll get the traditional lamb recipe along with beef and chicken, etc recipes.
Try cumin lamb burgers! Divide the minced lamb packet into four 4oz patties, (the size of a McDonald's Quarter Pounder!) with a sprinkle of fresh ground pepper on each side (there is plenty of salt in the feta cheese) and cook how you would normally cook a hamburger on skillet, grill, broil in oven etc. Toast four sliced pretzel buns, then spread the open toasted bun halves generously with cumin mayo (mix together ground cumin powder and mayonnaise, I like a lot of cumin flavour!). Place lamb burgers on bottom bun then top lamb burger with thin slice 5mn of feta cheese, and then thin-sliced red onions, and serve. They are delicious! They are about $30 each plus sales tax and tip at April Bloomfield's gastro pub in NY! For Americans, I recommend the milder domestic feta cheese from cow's milk. I think the pretzel bun is essential but I know others have used a toasted brioche bun. Whole Foods sells pretzel buns. Enjoy!
2 Kazy Ketos did a taste test of the butter and they couldn’t tell the difference between the Aldi one and Kerrygold brand. Looking forward to the Costco vid. I went on Tuesday and spent more $ than ever. They had so many good deals and I picked up a bottle of Basil Hayden which is kinda pricy but still a good deal there.
I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of weeks and I can say I’m hooked. I do have a question for you... I have a little high / borderline cholesterol should I be watching my fat intake? Hence I don’t do keto. What about my sodium intake?
Love love love your Aldi hauls. Just remember to please place items back properly. The workers here works hard to keep the place intact. It makes the items looked tampered with. Other than that your great 👍
Bobby I was very excited to see your video on the laird website. Yahoo🎉 Now see if you can get laird into Costco here in Atlanta that would be fantastic 🌞
Hey Bobby - Publix Greenwise organic ice cream (at least the chocolate) does not have natural flavors. It's full sugar, but for a small occasional treat I love it.
Nothing beats good old fashioned REAL ice cream. All these keto ice creams taste horrible to me and end up giving me stomach cramps, I'm guessing the sugar alcohols
@@KathyBrooksArt I have not mixed coffee with protein powder. I normally add it to smoothies or mix it with water. Bobby posted an informative video on coffee creamers. Check it out. ua-cam.com/video/WycdnKeok6A/v-deo.html
But Bobby cane sugar & honey in moderation is safe. Most like me do not like the aftertaste of fake or sugar alternatives! I don't like monk fruit. When you eat mostly healthy a lil pure sugar will not kill you unless you are severe diabetic or allergic. But tfs your finds.
A humble request... can you please please do a video for halal/kosher grocery items. I would like to know what are healthy halal/kosher options available in stores that I can use and are Bobby approved! Thank you in advance!
I saw the family pack of grass fed ground beefsteak my local Aldi’s . It was a medium brown color. Every single package. Scared me off. Single packages I have bought in past were pink.
Might be nothing to worry about. I know that the best way to get a good red color is treating the beef with carbon monoxide. I don’t know if that would be considered organic or not.
What to buy, what not to buy and WHY! That's what separates your amazing, educational videos from all the rest! Great job as always!
Great reporting Bobby
We have a Aldi but smaller store and no freezer items right now. Been under construction for 2 months. Hopefully it won’t take to much longer

So the parm doesn't have anything in it to keep it from clumping?
Irish butter is good because it's grass fed, but it is not cultured. I prefer the cultured butter especially from Normandy. It's more sophisticated.
@@elavke5441 Parmesan has a very long shelf life - 2-4 months. I have used it for several years and have never had it clump.

Wondering if that mushroom seasoning Would be as healthy if it’s not organic ? They get sprayed?

Bought the ground lamb today. Worried about it being gamey.
Made a lamb burger tonight. Absolutely awesome! Will be going back for more!
The “family pack” 100% grass fed beef is actually 4lbs not 3lbs!!! I was able to snag some yesterday at my local Aldi for the first time. 👍🏻
I was gonna say... Wait $4.49 for 3lbs doesn't equal... Haha! Thanks for clarifying.
Yeah I was confused because 17 divided by 4.45 is not 3.
I caught that too!
Thank You. I was confused as well!
I had the grass fed burgers, had zero taste.

I'm confused about sunflower oil being inflammatory but sunflowers aren't? I noticed Dessi put ground sunflower in her flaxseed crackers. Would anyone be able to explain? Thanks!
Not good for high heat cooking.
The oil is highly processed and refined, I understand🌻
When you process the oil you're left with mostly omega 6 fats that easily go rancid. Whole food fresh sunflower seeds are healthy, old rancid oils are not.
Those oils are processed at such high temperatures and with such chemicals that's the problem
