expanded player here, regidrago stocks have finally been realized. card is bonkers in expanded in contention for bdif in that format. standard format, its just a quicker dragapult.
I bought my playset of regidrago vstar when it came out and I've been waiting a long time for it to be viable. As soon as that kyurem was announced I started working on building a deck that could take advantage of it.
I was just saying that yesterday on your other video, why did Regidrago Vstar regular went from 1 dollar to almost 10, I haven't checked again or seen the video. But I'm glad you did it lol, keep up the uploads!
Small nitpick: the new Colress is really good. We just don't have a ton of great special energy in the format right now besides ace specs. Maybe when Lugia rotates we'll start getting good special energy again and it'll be nuts. It's gonna be an instant GLC staple for sure.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I sold my regidrago vstar for like $0.70 to a card shop a few months ago omg 😢 is it better to wait until after rotation to sell as a default, and then if cards pick up before that, sell them if you don't like them?
If that’s the case then you’ll be holding everything for almost 3 years. Many random spiking cards in the meta become useful because a new card makes it useful and popular. You can’t predict that.
I would say it's probably not worth to sell stuff for under a dollar. Usually my cutoff point for selling is like $5 minimum, unless I'm just sending literal bulk cards.
@@johnwoodard7963 that's actually a good point - having a cutoff so you're avoiding these kinds of things as much as possible. Thanks for the suggestion!
It hard walls decks like Chien Pao and Raging Bolt. I think people are just finally noticing it going into worlds. Also the engine it plays is basically a Raging Bolt acceleration engine but you also get to play huge draw like Research and Squawkabilly. The deck is finally getting figured out now that people are paying attention to it.
No I don’t think it would. From my understanding the Mist Energy would prevent the effect of the attack. There are a couple of ways to get around this though and those are to either use Enhanced Hammer to discard the Mist Energy, or use Temple of Sinnoh to nullify the Mist Energy
See I was wondering if it's a order of operations problem. Just trying to figure out which applies first, the knockout, or the immunity. Relevant to me because I use mist energy in my Lugia deck@@meme__kun

Seems like a year and a half of coping for Regidrago is finally paying off lol

idk man, Reversal Energy is pretty common. it's not huge in ex decks, but it's enough that Colress is definitely viable.
My pet deck from its first release :D

@@wolfiek1610 yeah I guess I shouldn't be too hard on myself for not being Psychic lol - you win some, you lose some. Thanks man!

I bought regidrago vstar for 3.75 months ago.. its really strong in matches..
Regidrago is doing crazy well right now. It’s A tier leading into worlds as of now and the next set makes it way better. Pros are buying them up
One of the few after gen 2 I love n I do not love that Vstar artwork lol pulled the rainbow tho
really glad to see this card getting some time in the spotlight before it rotates!
regidrago v star play pack is like 4€ on cardmarket
Me who built an expanded drago deck a year ago 😎
Was wondering why it was spiking. Thank you.

I just built a Raging Bolt deck. I hope it'll still do well
Does the haxorus card affect pokemon with mist energy?
