Who's watching this on a quarantine #stayathome time? I am and it's making my stomach growl. Thanks for sharing your amazing recipe! Well done. Gonna make this today.😉
I came across your video by coincidence & I must say thank you! It's so easy to follow since I've never cooked Kapoon before. Thank you for teaching us!
Thanks for give Lao credit..Back in the days 80s growing We Lao use to make the kowpoon noodles from scratched..Its still practice in some part of Lao today...the noodles still .made by hand today..in some part Laos or village..
@@MEplusEVERYTHING I saw my aunt make it as a.child...i was 6 years old..they.soke the sticky rice all day.until it become femented....thats how it was made.. But now the noodle call Vinmiclli..I think.Lao invented.but dont get. Credit..cause noodle is sold by viet and Thai now..But Laos only make at home to eat..but Viet and Thai make this into noodles bussiness..Thats like 40 yrs pass..Counting 2021 since the 80s..
Thanks for making it so simple to get your recipe. Went to the store and literally got all ingredients through the links you put down! Can’t wait to try it later today!!!
Delicious! With the bamboo. I boil it for 15 min with alil salt just to get that sourness out. That's just to prevent it from getting spoiled fast and avoiding the sour taste.
Wow this looks delicious! I’m going to try this but use chicken instead of ground meat. Never made kao poon before but I’ll give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
Have you tried heating up the coconut milk and adding the cans of red curry? You omit the use of oil. It's quite tasty too. Love the red color. I'll have to give it a try with the ginger. Looks delicious!
OMG I'm so hungry for this now, lol... Haven't had my mom's in a few months, can't wait to make this! Thanks for the upload, looks so so good but I"ll make it with chicken (don't eat pork). Stay safe, smart and healthy during social distancing, take care.
MeplusEverything, Just curious were you born in Lao or the U.S? The reason I ask is you say Khao Poon like Lao people and it in Hmong.Thank you for sharing and showing your video on You Tube so everybody can see and learn. S 'Ninja' Khamma
Wow sorry I'm 4 months late 😅 I just saw this in my "haven't replied" comments. I was born in the US. I'm Hmong but have a lot of Lao friends so I say it both ways haha.
MeplusEverything,If you don't mind asking who taught you how to cook this good, your mom or you learn yourself?By the way toward the end when you about to eat it look very appetizing. S 'Ninja' KHAMMA
Thanks for asking, I don't mind at all. I'd say a mixture of both. I learned a little bit from my parents and then majority by myself, after I moved out, had no one else to cook for me anymore lol. Thanks so much for watching 😊
You used 8 cans of red maesri paste? Good lord your soup must be super spicy!! I usually use 1 or 2 spoon of it only. I use more of the namya red curry paste. But i wonder how your soup tastes like. Never made it with ground pork before. Maybe next time I'll try it.
😅 to others yes it might be spicy but not for me. But it does get diluted with water and coconut milk too so it does balance out. I've made it with chicken before but I prefer ground pork because it had more flavor, but that's just me 😊 good luck if you give it a try! Thanks for watching!❤
Hmoob people eat too much oily and salty food. That is one big factor of stroke and heart attack when turning 50. Hmoob people should think about the food they eat. We love meat and stuff, but we should prepare it differently so we can avoid poisoning our bodies.
I want some!Well demo. WOW! would love to be your neighbor Nongchef/ thanks for sharing 🤗🤗

How many cups of water do you use? Looks delicious
There's no specific measurement for water. Just add enough to fill your pot. 😊

I make it all the time but as I get older, I omit the coconut milk. Doesn’t taste nearly as good but still flavorful. Your version looks to die for! 👍

Hmmm, no fish sauce ??
I normally do not add fish sauce, if I do then it would be in my own bowl. I do know a lot of people that add it though 😊 just not in my recipe.
Same with me I dont like to add any fish sauce in mine
I need fish sauce in mine
absolutely no soy sauce and black pepper in mine lol
