Out of all videos on UA-cam, yours was definitely the easiest. Very simple. I followed most of the steps and changed up a few steps however it turned out so good! Thank you!
I made this for dinner tonight and it was a hit! My family enjoyed it. Please keep your recipes and videos coming. I'm so thankful for all your hard work and sharing with the world. To me, that is very generous of you and your time. Thank you Zoey VFam!!!
Hi, I keep coming back to use your video when I make it from time to time. Decided to just create a personal playlist on my account and save the video so I can access it easier. Your recipe is a hit!!! Makes me a hero in the kitchen. Score!!!
This looks so easy for a beginner like me, thank you! I've watched a few of your videos and your recipes are few, and easy to follow. You explain very well and make it easy to follow. Thank you for sharing and I am definitely trying this dish!!!👍
It hurt me emotionally when you said you were throwing away the chicken skin omg 🥲🤣💀 that's the best part to me ahah! Thanks for this video, can't wait to make Khao poon!
Is there a difference in cooking the curry, cooked chicken, bamboo, etc, separately? When i make it, i usually just use one pot to cook everything. After boiling the chicken, i just throw everything into the broth pot. I don't like washing too many pots and pans when i cook 😅
Yes, to me it makes a differences but that could just be me. I find cooking the curry in oil brings out the flavor more than just throwing it in a pot of boiling water. The chicken and bamboo can be thrown in at anytime really, what I show is just my usual process.
I’m scared to eat quail eggs if that’s what your referring to lol. I add it for my family but never eat it. I don’t mind mushroom but don’t usually add it. I sometimes add baby canned corn.
👏 👏 👏 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO COOK THIS KHAO POON, EASY TO COOK AND LOOK SO GOOD ❤️

Yummm!! 🤤🤤 thank you for sharing!! 🔥🔥
How many serving servings will this be if estimated?
It hurt me emotionally when you said you were throwing away the chicken skin omg 🥲🤣💀 that's the best part to me ahah! Thanks for this video, can't wait to make Khao poon!
Your welcome, I get it lol.
This type of whole chicken I dislike when boil because the skin becomes too soft. The freshly butcher chicken I do like.
I like bean sprouts in mines
I like bean sprouts to!
Need the ingredient list please! 🙏 🙏 🙏
I will try to add it to the description box when I have a chance. It is mention in the video.

As an asian i have never seen a turkey kapoon. Im about to use turkey for kapoon next.
Sounds yummy, I’m sure turkey will be good to.
Recipe please, I couldn't find it.
Sorry it’s all mention in the video, I’ll have to find time to put it in the description box. Maybe this weekend if I am able to.
Where do you buy your noodle at? I can’t find it in my local Asian store.
Hi, I’m in Sacramento and it’s available at almost all Asian/Hmong grocery stores. Not sure about your location.
How many people will this feed?
Hi, 12-15 people depending on how much noodles serving.
Looks good but idk about the oyster sauce
It just add a little sweetness that’s all. You can do without.
😊😍❤🖒
Hi sister, Do I double the ingredients if I want to make a bigger bash?
Hi, yes you can double except for the curry paste if you add too much it may be spicier so you can do extra half.
Idk about the oyster sauce 😮
You can do without, it gives the brought a hint of sweetness but not noticeable.
It's so simple 😉 Just curious, you don't like the canned mushroom and eggs? Or is it too much?
I’m scared to eat quail eggs if that’s what your referring to lol. I add it for my family but never eat it. I don’t mind mushroom but don’t usually add it. I sometimes add baby canned corn.
Puas spicy na?
Hi, it’s not spicy. If you want more spicy try the red curry paste in the large containers.
👍🏽😋
Look good. I had some B4 . I want to make it. I'm Cambodia n Vietnamese .. but you think you can make it with green curry .. ?
I’m sure you can, I have never tried. You may want to add less green curry, to me green curry is a lot stronger in taste.
@@ZoeyandVFam thanks I try. Lol.
I usually had half red and half green to balance out the taste of the soup.
@@katelee7785 yum. Ima try it.
Do you use Galangal for kapoon?
First time how to making it.
Yes, the dried ones as shown in my video. You can use fresh as well.
That is more than 10-14 cups of water in that pot!
Hi, it’s not. The camera is zoom in. The pot is a lot smaller than what it looks like. Width is a little larger than size of the leg quarter.
Why does it matter..??
Oyster sauce😬?!
You can do without
Oyster gives it a better flavor.
Lost me at oyster sauce
You can do without.
