Haven't seen a 5 yet, that's cool. There are more Districts printed than you mentioned. All but 3 have been printed so far, for the 1 dollar at least. Richmond(E), Atlanta(F) & Dallas(K) have not been printed yet last I checked which was about two months ago. I have 9 so far in my collection. You have a Dallas you say, I guess I'll have to go check the production figures again. On a different topic, I found a filled star note yesterday. See ya buddy.
Hey brother. The Federal Reserve Districts that issue series year 2021 has definitely expanded since I researched this episode (which wasn't that long ago). One of my first notes was a note from a F.R.D I didn't mention. It took awhile for me to start seeing the latest printed notes. I see/ find them all the time now. Oddly enough I see F.R.D. (D/ Cleveland) the most. Cleveland does rock... Great find on the filled Star. What currency type is it... Talk to you soon brother...
@@legaltender1980 The filled star I found is from the Atlanta (F) FRD, series 2017, $1 bill. This is the second one I found from that district. Both were printed in DC. I checked the BEP production reports and the only district not printed is Atlanta (F), for the one-dollar bill. I didn't pay attention to the other denominations. Sorry, I'm old and can only do one thing at a time anymore. hahaha
@@anthonypuccio9575 the filled Stars are awesome finds. Filled or not. I keep all my found Stars. C.O.T.C says he doesn't due to the frequency in which he finds them (cashier). I think that would be an idea job for a numismatician. Oh well. My memory slips me as well with my advanced years in life (early 40's/ 164 in Army years) 😀😀😀. Since they're more apparently 11 out of 12 F.R.D that are issuing the series year 2021 note. That's a new numismatic collection to pursue...

I'm trying to gather some context for your statement. If I'm wrong please let me know. But I do believe they are printed up to 96 million than the alphabet at the end of the serial ascends to the next alphabet in order on the next print run. This is for all denominations. Can you place a timestamp for what lead to your question...
Just thinking about all the currency being printed year by year. Is it increasing or decreasing with all the credit cards, debit cards, gift cards and all other electronic transactions? And oh! I forgot coins.
Definitely not decreasing yet. You have to understand that the great majority of our paper money, especially $100s, end up being used by foreign countries to back their currency, or in some cases, they just use our Dollar. Pretty much whatever gets printed, goes to replace damaged or worn notes that are destroyed by the BEP. As a cashier, the customers in my area are averaging about half cash, half card for as far as how they pay for their orders.
That's a good inquiry. I definitely believe it's a supply and demand equation when printing US currency. I don't think the Department of Treasury prints less, or more than is needed. If they printed then needed that would be fiscally irresponsible, and if they printed more that would be an unnecessary expense. Thanks for supporting the channel. Talk to you soon...
