- A comprehensive explanation of Military Pogs. Speaking about the purpose of creation, printing/ creating agency (AAFES), location of issuance, monetary value, mintage year, denominations, and images on the obverse. Briefly spoke about the pog name, and pog pre-existing date. Military Payment Certificates (MPC).

MPC's are new to me, so I thought. I never realized that I had some (military pogs). I plan on learning more about them, and hopefully add a few to my collection.

Have heard of these, but never seen all of these varieties before. Saw one where they only had a single 5 cents one. Definitely better than having change jingling in a pocket when one is under remain silent and unseen conditions.
Had a 1989 Panama Chaplain's coin before, but that was made of some really light and cheap metal. Wish I still had it, even though it had no monetary value, I feel like it was at one time someone's challenge coin. Going to post a Google image on my Community page.
Yeah from a tactical standpoint. A lack of noise was paramount to successful maneuverability.

I have the MPCs in my collection semi large collection but again I never heard of pogs.
Yeah MPCs are an interesting, and very niche part of numismatics. I have a few, and am very eager to further grow my collection via some of the other MPCs I spoke about.
