Man you're definitely in for quite a feat. If and when you complete that set, that will definitely be very impressive. It took me a minute just to collect the type set. Now you're looking at Star Notes and Mules. Hats off to you brother. Good luck and happy hunting 😊😊😊...

Lucky you, I am missing the twenty of the Hawaii Note. Once I get that that would complete my WWII series of American Note Involvement, Hawaii Notes and North Africa yellow seal notes. Congrats again. I need to work on my Nazi German and occupation notes, I have a few but I need from other countries under Germany control.

Hey brother thanks for the acknowledgement and your continued support of the channel.
Maaaaan. You might have named a future episode. American Involvement Notes. That has a pretty good ring to it.
Keep hunting brother. I'm sure you'll complete that series before you know it. I was fortunate enough to find a package deal. It set on Ebay for a while, then I decided to move on it. I planned the waiting game before and lost out. The census is the $5 note is the most expensive. If you're only missing the 20. I don't think you'll pay over $100. $120 max.
Stay tuned brother. I have some interesting notes (numismatic pieces) coming up. Talk to you soon...

Nice! Still have to complete the WWII sets. Need the $10 & $20 for Hawaii yet, and the $5 & $1 for North Africa. Been eyeing the $5 N.A. for hopefully the next addition.
Yep, those $5s along with the $1s were the workhorses for them, so many have heavy circulation. The $10s and $20s, were pretty much used like we use $50s and $100s today, and mostly just used for the larger purchases and rarely as just spending cash.
As for guessing your grades, I would base them on my Fine 12 $5. My guess for your $5 would be a VG 8, your $10 would be a Fine 15 to a VF 20, and the $20 would be a Fine 12 to 15. Just my guesses by sight on video and your description.

Hey brother. You're almost there with your collection. Good things often come to those who wait. It took a minute for me to gather this set together. As you know all these notes (3 Hawaii Overprint Notes) was a bundle purchase. Maybe you can find a similar deal. Good hunting brother keep me informed.
I seriously have to learn about grades. I'll take your word on the assessment (grade) of these notes...

Nice, you have all the Hawaii notes now. How about the N. Africa notes, do you have all of them? My guess is they would fall in the Fine 8-12 for all of them.

Hey A.P. Yes brother I have collected the entirety of both emergency note sets (Hawaii Overprint Notes, and North Africa Notes).
Thanks for you assessment of the grade. I'll take it. I'm just really glad that I can now say that I have these notes in my collection. I've definitely been searching high and low for them.

I purchase mine from Amazon. I don't know if they are PVC free. Apparently that's a thing. From what I hear PVC case are extremely detrimental to coins. I do not know the effects on paper currency, but my buddy A.P. (fellow subscriber and good dude) says that they are just as bad. Check our banter via the comment section on recent episodes. But I get mine from Amazon. Responsibly priced in a good volume. I tried to copy the link, but it wasn't working. I will put the description below, so I guess just copy and paste that to Amazon and hopefully that'll work. Let me know the results.
