I have the prevous version with the breaker/switch at the front. >50A the breaker starts to warm up significantly... maybe that is the reason to get rid of it....? Although I like the switch to disconnect the battery quickly for maintenance (off course not under heavy load... don't trust the switch that much)
A breaker is not necessary if there is a good fuse inside. The fuse holder looks good. Add an additional manual switch in the positive, and the build is great.

Yes, the breaker was bad, a good fuse and a manual switch is the way to go.
I have V4 i don’t like the cable connection inside the box. I prefer these busbars.
