Wow he just threw Elvis under a bus, how could he possibly be so bad a drug addict, and perform as well as he always did. He should have got help, no doubt, but why not blame the doctors too?
I grew up with a mother who was addicted to pills. One time i went with her to her doctor, and she got all the pills she wanted. She loved me to death, but when i tried to stop her doctor from prescribing more pills, she gave me a look i will never forget. There was no way to stop her from getting what she wanted. If she didn`t get it from her doctor, she would go and see another. That`s what Elvis did too. Dr. Nick gave him placebos a lot of the time. That`s why Elvis went to other doctors. There were nothing to do with Elvis`s substance abuse. Nobody could have saved him. And that the honest truth.
+Yellyman Gonzales You made a good point, but doctors need to be held accountable for contributing to giving certain drugs to people who don't need it. Sorry to hear about your mother. No child should have to live through something like this.
Teri Caiazzo My mother could get anything she wanted from her doctor. As i said, i tried to stop her once, but it didn`t work. She wanted those drugs, and she would do anything to get them. That`s how Elvis was too. I agree with you on holding doctors accountable. They are the expertise, and they should not prescribe medications to patients that they do not need. But a lot of doctors too.
I never knew he gave that piano to Priscilla as a wedding gift. I heard he gave it (later on) to one of his cousins or a family friend. I heard PP did have a piano which she stained from white to lime green. But if this is the same piano it was sold by his cousin or family friend to one of the hard rock cafe's in FL. It's currently gold in color, Now on display there.... ua-cam.com/video/e4pdw31wkLg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/YcBFBx6Mum8/v-deo.html
I can't stand that Geraldo. And why does he keep showing that awful picture of Elvis at the end, all bloated, barely recognizable? It's a study in contrasts: Elvis/Geraldo.....talent/no talent.
Pricilla is little LOITA! HER FAMILY WAS PAID WELL!
The reall problem was telling Elvis no
