Oh yeah my friend
Thanks so much for the content! You are such a clear teacher!
Thankyou Steve! I'm glad you're enjoying them :)
I've been playing Irish since BEFOREinternet you tube ....this was a nice lesson, I can learn something from anyone, well taught,
when a session lets me ...
I play didgeridoo like the drone of the uilllean pipes....good fun, nicely different. WHEN I have a D timber with me, thank you
Thanks Cliff! I have seen a few people using tuneable didgeridoos in sessions to great effect! Really cool sound for Irish tunes imo.
I am taking a accompaniment class next month , I "think" I've been playing longer than the instructor but I m not going in with arrogance in my mind. ( 1979)?
Enjoyed this lesson.
Thanks Michael! You can find hundreds more on Https://FolkFriend.co.uk/
Really interesting and helpful. Thanks.
No problem, glad you liked it!
I could have done with theses years ago but I hope I can retrain my brain and speed up !! Thanks
You'll get there! :)
I'm also available for 1on 1 lessons via Skype if you'd like a helping hand!
This is really helpful. I take it you apply the same rhythm to a mandolin strumming?
Hi Alice. Yep absolutely! Just make it a bit smaller 😅
Hello from France ! I really enjoy your videos, would love to see a tutorial video where you go in details about the strumming you perform in the intro of your recent videos (the jig bit, with the flute). Cheers !
Merci ! Oui aucune problème ! Je le ferai la semaine prochaine ! That one is mostly a pattern which I call "upside down strumming" with a few little variations - I'll run rough them in my next clip. I also give lessons via Skype (in either English or French haha) if you'd like to go through it in more detail. Thanks for your comment and don't forget to subscribe for a notification when the next clip is out. Cheers
@@folkfriend You're the man, appreciate that! Already subscribed, back from when you had the locks x). Looking forward to the strumming video - I was going to call that an elaborate version of your da-da-diddly strumming, but upside down strumming is shorter^^), and taking note that you are giving skype lessons. Love the accent and I need to practice so english is perfect xD. Cheers !
Ah nice one! If you decide to try a Skype lesson the first one is free, just email info (at) finaleguitar.co.uk. Keep an eye out for the next video :). À bientôt!
Hi from Belgium, Nial!
I reckon you improved a bit on the guitar since 4 years ago :) 👍🏻
Thankyou! I hope so haha.
