Am seriously considering this for my Spec B H6, how loud is it in real life, just for when I wake up early and go to leave, do you reckon it will be something neighbours would complain about
Nice, I’ve come to the conclusion this is the best sounding exhaust for this engine. I was debating between the muffler delete or the 5”. I’m thinking to just do the delete. What rpm do you really start notice it (while inside)? I just don’t want it to be too obnoxious in those low rpms.
@@TheDailyRex Sweet good to hear man! Have you done anything up from the axleback yet? I'm about to do raptor headers and these, but not sure what I'm gonna do in between...
Ya a couple different brands, but as far as I know they aren’t any many on the market rn because of the whole COVID thing going on. Carid.com had them until they took them off the website recently.
@@TheDailyRex yeah im definitely gonna get it hows the insurance? i was thinking about a g35x but u know how insurance is for a "luxury car" and its heavier and the tank is bigger
@@TheDailyRex another reason that i am getting it because it has that "fart sound" when it shifts the 3.6r doesnt have that. it reminds me of dodge's hemi shift sounds and Volkswagen, bmw, mercedes Shift sound, i love it.
Saad Muhsin just the muffler delete itself isn’t that bad. Once the car is in the right gear it’s very quiet inside. But sounds amazing when you give it some gas
Nathan Yoder yup! Only issue was getting the old mufflers off. They rusted themselves to the Y-pipe. Other than that the kit came with the right bolts and gaskets and bolted up perfectly
Drifter Tech I’m not really sure anymore. It’s been about a year since I got them and not sure they even make them anymore. This one was for a legacy GT which have the same OEM cat back exhaust as the 3.0R. So not sure they will fit on an outback.
Jimmy Smith I’m running a cheaper coilover set up right now. The wheels are 17 by 8. Stock factory wheels are 17 by 7. So I stretched the tires a bit and got a bit more traction
Your neighbors must love you.
Could be way worse
I would like to have neoghbor like that. And have you ever heard straightpiped v8in morning?😀this is not that bad
Yeah or a Harley starting in the morning 🤣
Love the car, you really helped me find a good exhaust we have the same exact car
Oh man what a beautiful exhaust note. Nice!
Dude if it wasn't a magnet for cop I would do it in a heartbeat
perfectisimo
Hey man where did you get the axles backs from been tryna find one for a liberty for ages
Am seriously considering this for my Spec B H6, how loud is it in real life, just for when I wake up early and go to leave, do you reckon it will be something neighbours would complain about
Most people would complain in any residential neighbourhood... Really no need for these annoying exhaust for cruising in town. Small dick energy
Axlebacks are tame, loud exhausts are fun, don’t let karens tell you otherwise
How did you get your exhaust to pop and crackle?
Uooow! Very nice… did you just change that last part of the exhaust?
En cuantas pulgadas son las colas ? 4” ?
Did the axle back cause a c.e l ? I'm from New York state and want to pass emissions???
It’s an axle back…

Garrett L low rpms while driving you won’t notice any drone. But while giving it gas you definitely hear it. It’s perfect
@@TheDailyRex Sweet good to hear man! Have you done anything up from the axleback yet? I'm about to do raptor headers and these, but not sure what I'm gonna do in between...
Is the exhaust stock other than the muffler delete?
How bad is the drone at highway speeds?
where can you buy the muffler delete for the 3,0R? I can just find it for the 2,5gt and the 2,5i?
Ruben P.Rosenberg that’s where I took the plunge. I got it for a 4 cylinder model and hoped it fit and it did. It’s from Nameless
@@TheDailyRex okey, thanks bud
Do they make catbacks for the 3.0? Everything I see is for the 2.5GT
Ya a couple different brands, but as far as I know they aren’t any many on the market rn because of the whole COVID thing going on. Carid.com had them until they took them off the website recently.
do you still have this car? how its been im thinking about this as a first car. how much do you pay to full the tank?
dens bernard yes I still have it. I drive like hell and it’s been beautiful. A full take on premium where I’m at is around $40

dens bernard for my insurance since I’m on a family plan is around $100 a month. This is my first car also
where did you buy this from? I'm only finding it for the 2.5, not any for H6 models
Heard wrx exhaust is similar, maybe try that for axle back
Is this the same for the 2.5 gt? I have a 3.0r and I was wondering if it fit the same bc I only find this stuff for the 2.5L
Need to know aswell if u got the answer
Yes anything 3.0r can use the 2.5 gt exhaust setups
I need this done to my 3.0R
Import Zodiac just got a resonator delete from Summit. I’ll put the video up whenever I have time to put it on!
Is 3.0R the flat 6? I was just offered one for 4K
Tabias yes the 3.0R is the 6 cylinder
The auto subie guy ok thanks I got offered one I’m probably gonna get. Gonna be a sick first car
Yes, please do! I have a slight exhaust leak on mine somewhere so may as well.
What was the setup in the before shot?
Jack Turner an exhaust leak... lol
Sounds amazing.
Is it the one for the 2.5i or the 2.5gt ?
Saad Muhsin GT. It’s all universal I believe. Don’t quote me on that lol
The auto subie guy
Thanks for the reply.
Does it drone a lot ?
I am thinking of getting one for my car
Saad Muhsin just the muffler delete itself isn’t that bad. Once the car is in the right gear it’s very quiet inside. But sounds amazing when you give it some gas
Is it the 4 in.?
Tire size and brand ?
Where did you buy the axle back exhaust system????
Can you send me the link???
Khalid Sayyed it was just on eBay. I don’t have any link
I believe it was meant for a 2.5 GT but the factory exhaust systems are the same I think
How does it sound on the highway does it get droney and annoying?
Just the muffler delete isn’t that bad. The setup I have now is quite droney
What wheels do you use? They look nice
Basih I believe they are called Avid 20s from some eBay site. Dimensions are 17x8
where did you buy that?
Doesn't sound like a Subaru but doesn't sound like a Honda or something either. I like it
It sounds better than a subaru
everything bolt up fine, or did it need any extra work?
Nathan Yoder yup! Only issue was getting the old mufflers off. They rusted themselves to the Y-pipe. Other than that the kit came with the right bolts and gaskets and bolted up perfectly
@@TheDailyRex Awesome thank you, I also forgot to ask if you ran it on the stock midpipe
Nathan Yoder stock mid pipe for now. I got a resonator delete waiting to go in. But as of this video everything is stock except the muffler delete
@@TheDailyRex where did you buy them. I have a 3.0R outback
In this video did it still have the resonator?
Crispy K yes. Stock resonator
@@TheDailyRex just got it done with titanium exhaust tips. It sounds so clean 🥴🥴
Where can I get this I want this for my 08 outback H6 llbean

Is it automatic or manual
Auto
does it drone at all?
i live in australia so its called the subaru liberty, i have an 05 3.0r would this fit on mine? you said you got it for a 4 cylinder?
mines inline 6
Yes it should. If not take it a muffler shop and they can cut and weld the flanges to the right position
xlennox beats lmao this one in the vid is a 3.0 6 cylinder and the liberties don’t have an inline engine, they have a flat engine, a H6.
How many miles are on this thing
Jimmy Smith 161k
Decent my 09 3.0R has got 67k
What suspension you on
What size wheels are you on diameter width and offset
Jimmy Smith I’m running a cheaper coilover set up right now. The wheels are 17 by 8. Stock factory wheels are 17 by 7. So I stretched the tires a bit and got a bit more traction
Haahahaa omg ...
I need dat on my 3.0 r '05 spec b!!!!
I just discovered those existed last year. Having a flat 6 with a manual is the DREAM.
