Not sure Paul, about 6 to 7 years here in ground but was a large tree in a pot, had to pick up from Daley's, so was probably 4 to 5 years old. So I would say at least 10 years up to 12 Max.
Mine to G, that's why I'm excited. The next few years are gonna be awesome as both my trees start to load up, then I have to wait for lindero, lucs, acuminata and macrophylla to fruit. I just bought a sp squat as well. Always something to look forward to.
Yeah Brett been coughing for a few days, tore my throat up a bit. I don't think I'll have to protect it, nothing seems to eat my lemondrop mangosteens that have hundreds of fruit, but I will definitely keep an eye on them
I thinks more to do with the age of the tree, than the size! I am going to try and graft a bunch of achachas, if it works I can send you a scion to graft and speed up the fruiting. Going to have to prune some branches going into my neighbours yard anyhow.
Well done Doug, how old is that tree?

@dougs_urbanfarm dang that incoming Garcinia fruit line up sounds tremendous! 🔥
Do you sell fruits or seeds? 😋🤗☺
Wau Great. I think I have 10 years more to wait 😂 I have 7 seedlings. I hope you make a taste video 🌱
That 10 years will go by faster than you think Thomas! I will definitely do a taste video, the one I've always wanted to do.
Wow so exciting Doug 👍🏻
Yeah Neil this tree has taken some patience!
You sounded as croaky as the frogs Doug ! Great to see that turning colour for you. You don't have to bag it then ?

I wondered the same thing.
I’ll be dead before I get mine to that size and then get it to fruit. I will have to just settle for fruit market Achacha. Awesome Doug.

All good mate, I’ll tough it out. Don’t like to trouble you. I would rather try to get mine to fruit, It would be more satisfying.
