  • It wouldn't be Outer Banks Sheepshead fishing (for us) if the wind wasn't blowing 30+ mph and the temps weren't abnormally low... BUT, we didn't go skunked and while we aren't a group to complain if we ARE catching quantity over quality, we also aren't going to complain (too much) if we are catching quality over quantity either. None of the Sheepshead we caught on this day, in late May, went back in the water because they were all GOOD sized fish. I think the smallest was a 13.5" all the way up to not one, but two 19 inch Convicts. The bite was slow, the wind was mis-er-able, then the waves got pretty sloppy and we called it a day with 8 nice sheep in the cooler. In one of those last clips where we are still on the piling, you can see the boat really rocking it back and forth.
We have sooooo much content coming up so be sure to subscribe so you can stick around and see what we have going on. More OBX fishing, a lot more pay lake carp fishing, and hopefully some Alaska Cruise videos too. We thank all y'all who have supported us, continue to support us and also you guys that are new to our journey.
