I like most of your content and it really helped me to find a skin care routine which works for my skin.
Probably this video is more about advertising fancy things, but to be honest for those on a budget, who hate paying pink tax and/or care about the environment, it's a bummer. Maybe you like to consider the good, old fashioned safety razor, too, as it could be an affordable, hygienic, sustainable and environmental friendly solution. Just a few reasons why everyone should give it a try:
      - Although a safety razor may look like chopping off big chunks of skin is unavoidable, surprisingly it's actually safer than any other razor I've used before (and that's plenty).
      - Unlike plastic, metal makes it harder for bacteria to grown on, especially since those razors don't come with any (unnecessary) feature like an aloe vera strip for eg. That's just an additional playground for all kind of bacteria, particularly in a humid and warm environment.
      - All parts of the razor are easy to clean, including the blade.
      - The blades are VERY sharp which lowers the risk of accidental cutting and skin irritation.
      - Prices for the razor itself vary depending on design, brand etc, I've paid around 27ish € for a double-edge safety razor. The blades are dirt cheap (10 for 2,50€). US prices are similar from what I've seen.
      - Before using a new blade, you can flip it 180 degrees and it will last even longer (1 double-edge blade theoretically equals 4 single blades). However, if necessary changing the blade more often certainly won't leave you broke.
      - Considering that many people shave some parts of their body, that's a lot of waste with all those disposable plastic razors and razor blades. In comparison, a saftey razor is a plastic free, sustainable, almost zero waste solution to smooth skin.
(In case this was already part of any previous video I might have missed and which would make my comment sound a bit bitchy, I apologise 🌻🙌🏻)

IPL or Laser is NOT permanent. I have been doing laser since 19. Especially if you have hormonal issues. You will have very soft and manageable hair but in order for it to work properly your hair must always be shaved and not seen superficially. Otherwise the light targets your skin which leads to burn and not the hair follicle. If you have blindfish or white hair it will not target that either. Best candidates are white skin with very dark hair, they will have the best results.
I’m glad you reviewed this because I want to try this one in particular. I pay $350 monthly on full body and it’s very inconvenient. I just saw a TikTok creator “review” it but I don’t trust it lol.
ALSO, Forgot to add the best and only razor I have been able to use in the past decade that doesn’t irritate my skin is the Venus extra smooth that is green with the blue rubber around. It lasts me a lifetime without rusting. Best and only

I was a cabaret dancer, and wore very skimpy costumes...I shaved my whole body, but I'm prone to razor burn, ingrown hairs, and body acne. I discovered that if I used Noxema pore cleansing pads (in the dark blue tub) immediately after shaving, I would avoid the razor burn. And If an occasional ingrown or zit pops up, hydrocolloidal bandages are a lifesaver.

I have been thinking about getting an IPL device for soooo loooong. I was saving up for some new furniture but now with this deal I decided to go for it! Sadly the Amazon deal is only for the US website and I cannot find a way to select a European plug, but the Ulike website deal was still great.
I have white/blonde hair on my arms and most of my leg-areas and face, but the hair under my armpits, on my shins and on my stomach is almost black. And I've been wanting to get rid of it for yeeeeaaaaaarrrrrsssss but nothing seemed to work, and getting IPL done at a beauty salon is too expensive and time consuming, not to mention I hate leaving my house XD So seeing you endorse a product like this made me take the plunge!

What helps me to totally remove razor bumps: during shaving: penzol peroxide cleanser with 5%. After drying the shaved skin I put on benzol peroxide cream (2.5 or 5%). 24h after shaving I use a peel - 8% up to 15% - lactic acid, mandelic acid and salizylic acid peel as combo peel. It can burn, in my case only when it burns a lot for a few seconds I know that its removing the dead skin off the pores so that the hair can grown normally. After the peel I put on moisturizer for allergy prone skin because I only use fragrance free products.

(4th time the post edit charm): I always had great results for both the bumps (and the severe ingrown hairs along my bikini line) and excessive sweating in high school with Certain Dri roll on. Like the classical, true liquid roll on that is kinda like the old body glitter roll on type container. I tried every deodorant rx or not and nothing ever helped with the severe sweating. And the PBF was diagnosed by the derm in the process. I got frustrated with no result 3 derms in, rhat I asked every fricken grown lady I could until my best friend's mom gave me the deet from her high school issues. (My best friend and you (and her late mom) are nearly carbon copies: over 6 foot tall, cystic acne, mutli uteri, marfanoid habitus traits, etc. I started watching you during the pandemif cause i was missing my best friend and you reminded me of her) The razor bump (PBF/ingrown hairs ) resolving was just a happy coincidence and has helped ever since.
Idk why it worked differently than the other "rx strength" antiperspirants, but it truly fixed it almost immediately once you get through the first two weeks of the initial rashes like you would get with a retinol. And only 7-9$ a bottle! I use their AM certain dri "every day" normal-type deodorant int he morning. a new razor every week from DSC and their shave cream.

I use to get razor burn on my legs and arm pits. I switched to the schick intuition and I has been amazing. I get a close save with no razor burn or ingrown hairs. I have given up on my bikini area. It’s to painfull.

Highly recommend getting a single-blade safety razor. Mine is from Ecoroots, but Hey Hanni is super popular and their Shave Pillow seems like a good product for both during and after shaving. Little more of an upfront cost, but single blades are extremely cheap not to mention much thinner and sharper than the typical 3-5 blade razors, so savings and better results in the long run. There's a learning curve, but after about 3 years of using it I haven't looked back.

Isn’t IPL only for lighter skin tones though? I dont think pigmented skins can use IPL. I used it in the past and it’s unbearably painful.

White skin, dark hair is gonna get best results, yeah. Dark skin, or light skin with lighter hair, not so good.

@@ingridelknermusic actually that is somewhat incorrect. It doesn't scar for everyone. And once the hair is gone, it is gone. It is the only method the FDA declares is permanent hair removal. But would be nice to have more options.

@@user-le4pz3ue9u It may not scar everyone, but it really scarred me. They say it doesn't hurt - it was horribly painful. And most of the hairs grew back. Soft hairs that were done in the area I didn't want them done didn't grow back leaving a sort of bald patch, but the more intense hairs all came back. I did about 6 sessions.

So my issue is that the most annoying hairs I have are like white/cleat right in my chin but they are the thickest most coarse hair on my body. You said the ipl looks for difference in color.... would that work if I put dye on the hair I'm trying to get off since the color would be dark which is what the device is looking for...? Just a question I've had. You convinced me to get the white ipl from current body but damn now I want this one it looks so much cooler.

I really, really struggle with ingrown hairs, even without shaving. 😭 I also don't want to show my legs because I have horrible hyperpigmentation. I really want to pierce my bellybutton but my stomach is majorly ugly because of the hyperpigmentation. IPL is way too expensive for me, but I noticed trying to moisturize and exfoliate helps at least a tiny bit.
