You're woken up by your husband on Sunday morning to a nice breakfast and some cards from your children for Mother's Day! It's been a little while since you've had the day with just the two of you and you're looking forward to it!

Okay people, if you listened to this or any of his audios, you MUST hit the like button!! Now, Pingly, please don't EVER change!! From the photo representation to the dad jokes, the visions during the banter, the cards from the kids (your twitching eye & lip), to the last gift, it was all thoughtfully planned out. It melted a heart and caused a few tears sprinkled with giggles. Well done!! Okay, I have a vision of how Father's day might be 😂. Ideas I have for that and another thing, not saying them here. Know that you are an amazing person!!

Waking up to her husband’s handsome face was always the highlight of any morning. And Mother’s Day was no exception, the little kiss to her nose as she woke had her giggling and grinning like a teenager.
Rock? Slept like. Definitely. She can confirm. ‘Atrocious bed head? Check, nothing new there.’ she thought, chuckling slightly to herself.
Following the question of ‘where were the kids’, she found the pleasant surprise of not having to worry about them for a while. They were most definitely in good hands till the time came for them to come home.
“I mean honey…” he said, and she raised a brow at him. “You already know.. what _I_ want for breakfast.~” he said, prompting her to blush madly and do a boop-point on his nose in an almost accusatory manner as he laughed. “You-“ she replied, much flustered.
‘Not yolk stained my FOOT, that carpet is forever yellow. No matter what he said.’ She thought crossing her arms in good humored ‘hmph’ as it were. “Methinks you doth protest too much.” She replied, sticking out her tongue in jest.
Also old jokes? Nah nah nah, if anything *_she_* should be makin the old jokes, by her count he was like… ten years older that her!!
As the topic changed from breakfast to Mother’s Day gifts from the kids, she couldn’t help but laugh with him at the fact of ‘The Glitter.’ (dun dun DUUUN-) “open it like a bomb!” He said, the suggestion not a bad one as she laughed again.
Then the banter turned to coffee. And though she debated and protested, he _did_ make a good cup of coffee- but she couldn’t pass up the opportunity for Starbucks~ good coffee or no.~
And to the cards… they were so cute! “Yes I’m jealous that our daughters handwriting is better than mine.” “Does that bug you?” “No. I am not goin g to let it bug me. This is me. Not being bugged by that.” “I think you’re twitching.~” “My lip is not twitching, and neither is my eye.” “Yes it is!” “Hush- shh. Read your card.” She always loved such exchanges with her dear husband, never failed to make her smile or laugh.
Anyway- the cards were absolutely adorable!! The talent on their kids- phew- that definitely bears encouragement!!
Baking hero and Nurse mom? She couldn’t help the smile on her face. Definite fridge material. No ifs ands or buts about it!
The buildup to her husbands mothers day gift was simultaneously unbearable and so romantically sweet… gosh he had her dang near crying before the reveal dadgummit!
“And obviously.. again I couldn’t have done this without you… and I wouldn’t have wanted to do this.. with anybody but you…” “oh don’t make yourSELF cry!-“ she said as he paused, “heh- yeah I’m getting a little misty-eyes what of it?” He replied and they both chuckled slightly.
Then the reveal of the ring.
It was such a sweet thing… the rose gold, the hearts with each of their respective gemstones… and the engraving _’to my love, the greatest wife and mother, on the planet.’_ gosh- now she REALLY had to fight back the tears- dang him- -in a good way though who was she kidding-
“Happy Mother’s Day.” He said. “I love you.” He added.
“I love you too.” She replied. Never having meant anything more than those four words.
Ok. The “You already know what _I_ I want for breakfast~” line. Are you *_TRYING_* to kill me!? Or at the VERY least make me swoon?? *grumbles in **_‘why am I like this’_*_ __-you’re too good at this-_ and the “rrrar~” GAAAH *_why. why am I like this._*
I’ve said it before- you’re LAUGH. GAH it’s so pure and bright- and I will probably say it again-
The banter between listener and speaker? IMMACULATE. Had me laughin and gigglin right there along with you! xD
Also- something else I’ve said before- you would be such a good dad oh my GOSH.
The woman who gains your affection will be a very lucky woman indeed. ^w^
