The football game had been so much fun, and then him hurting his knee had been a bit humorous - a perfect excuse to stop playing and spend some quality time with I husband. "Falling on your knees always hurts!" I quipped back at one of his cheeky comments, my cheeks flushing as he complimented my performance in the game. It felt so nice to hear him praise me like that. I'm often so self-conscious, but in moments like these, I can forget my doubts. "Ah, food babies, the joy of Thanksgiving," I chuckled, patting my slightly rounded tummy as we compared whose was bigger. "Pretty healthy food baby there, yeah," I replied, giggling as he insisted mine was. Our conversation soon turned to favorite dishes, and I couldn't help but gush about the deviled eggs. "Oh, the deviled eggs, those are always just the best," I sighed contentedly. I listened with a smile as he rambled on about the cheesy potato casserole and how he should make it more often. I found myself nodding in agreement - everything had been absolutely delicious. When he started complimenting the turkey, I felt a swell of pride. "My cousin did me proud," I said, beaming. It meant so much to have my families hard work appreciated, especially by the man I love. As the discussion shifted to what we were grateful for this year, I blushed slightly. "Well... for my family, of course. Good food, good people... you~" I may have been going for casual, but the way my voice caught on his name betrayed my true feelings. It still amazes me sometimes, how much this man means to me. The best part of the day, I realized, was simply getting to sit and bask in gratitude together. Life can be so hectic, but moments like these remind me of what truly matters. Later, when he mentioned how much his brother loved my signature dish, I grinned. "Oh, my cauliflower soup? I know he eats it all, honey, I know," I said, chuckling. "Maybe I'll make two batches then," I promised. As the conversation wandered to future plans, I found myself getting excited about the idea of starting a family someday, though I'm not quite ready for that step yet. Still, the thought of creating a life with this wonderful man... it's appealing, to say the least, even if I didnt want to share him with anyone else just yet. When he invited me to sit in his lap, I hesitated briefly, then grinned. "Well, fine, I'll come sit, but when you get flattened, that's on you!" I warned playfully, emphasizing my still present food baby as I carefully settled myself. "Always reserved for me, huh?" I teased as he assured me his lap was saved for me alone. "What about your nieces and nephews?" I asked, smirking. "Yeah, well, nieces and nephews too, but they don't count~" he retorted with a wink. "I don't think I could be happier either," I replied softly, at another of his witty *cough cough* adorable *cough cough* remarks, smiling as he kissed me and wished me a happy Thanksgiving. "Happy Thanksgiving to you too, honey" I murmured back, my heart full to bursting with love and gratitude for this incredible man by my side. Happy Thanksgiving Pingly!! This was such a cute audio! And I know my other comments are… late… BUT THEY WILL BE POSTED. It's been a combination of stuff happening- and… a bit of laziness on my part. So I will make effort to rectify that!! His gentleness and consideration of her was one of the things she loved most about him. Even comforting her- when she felt it was her fault their evening was messed up... "Well you can still go!" She said, wanting to at least halfway make up for her stupid headaches- "Nope." "What?" "Nope, I'm not going, my foot hurts." She had to hold back a smile as he crossed his arms playfully, the smallest hint of a smirk on his face. Turning it around on her like that… clever, but still… "Honey, I don't care about missing a play…" he said, smiling at her gently, "yeah, I wanted to go see it, but you mean so much more to me than… anything else." He went on, the care and concern he held for her was basically palpable as he spoke, making her feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. As he helped her out of the less comfortable clothes, kissing her ankle, offering to get sweatpants for her… teasing her with his own outfit- which she was ecstatic to have gotten such a good one for him- she couldn't help but smile a bit, she was so grateful for him, and because of that she had to oblige him with the humming thing, she HAD to. "How do I look?" He asked when he was done. She just smirked slightly and said, "like a snack~" much to his enjoyment before he asked about her medicine, making sure she was taken care of, making sure she'd take care of herself… "I love you, so, much…" he murmured after giving her a gentle kiss, as if a reminder that he didn't care about her headaches, or how they affected their going out, all he cared about, was her, her wellbeing… She felt the same way about him, but moments like these, full of such care and consideration… she couldn't help but be so grateful for him, even drawing her a hot bath? Making sure all the lights were off as he got her to the bathroom, encouraging and praising her… Gosh… half the time she felt she didn't deserve him… then again he'd say the same of her. "Honey, I love you, with all of my heart, and honestly, nothing makes me happier, than making you feel good, or feel better, or however you wanna word it." He said, continuing to reassure her as her doubt slowly, but surely died for now. Even the freaking airplane noises were comforting, lighthearted though they were, she couldn't help but smile, knowing such antics were meant to make her feel better. He'd even let their friends know they wouldn't be coming? And made sure that they wouldn't downplay her chronic headaches (no matter how well meaning they were-)? Sometimes, sometimes this man was too much, but she was so, so grateful for him. Once the bath was done, his respectful perving was put of the way, she had taken her headache medicine and they were snuggled up, she just about melted into him, gratitude and warmth swelling inside her as she smiled. Just knowing he thought she was strong… made her feel a little better. "Goodnight…" She murmured either a smile on her face, dozing off as she snuggled into her sweet, Teddybear of a husband. Even in this one I'm not safe- Pingly- "Well, Yeah ima takin off all this stuffy clothing too," NO!- what- AH!- 😖 ANF THAT CHUCKLE AFTER YOU ASKED THE LISTENER TO HUM? STOOOOOP- why am I like this- 'Respectfully perving' PINGLY!! WHYY- I CANT- Seriously though, this was so cuteee- not to mention comforting!! I even had a slight headache when listening so it was even more comforting and reassuring and- AH!- the sweetness was amazing, the care and consideration was beautiful, lemme tell you, I am jealous of any woman who's gots them a man's like this cause theys is LUCKY.
