Have to give you credit for braving the wind by yourself. I think I would have waited it out. Fish were small like you say but they were really nice. Thanks for sharing.
Well done. Another great video. I was at Blue Creek a couple of days ago. It was 23 degrees, and ice was clogging the eyelets. No fish, but another fishing memory.
On Riffe Lake there are coves to fish during high winds, and you should always troll with the wind, (which in high pressure is usually from the east). Just be mindful of the depths at all times. If it gets too bad there is always Mayfield right down Hwy 12, (same gear and techniques).
Was this video really few days ago?? Was thinking fishing from the banks tomorrow lol, if they are bitting at this time, not sure whwn is the best time, its first for me..
Simple really. Okuma Celilio 8ft light action. Okuma Convector LH line counter. 20lb Power Pro. I have a video on the dropper rigs. I show the dodgers and Hoochies in most of my videos.
Its been about 5 years since ive been to that lake, but seems like the fish have gotten a lot smaller. Still fun, but we used to catch 1-2 pounders on the regular
@@Northwestfishingfanatics I don’t use the bow mount for propulsion, I use it to change directions. I use the kicker for propulsion and lock the steering.
@Northwestfishingfanatics that's what I thought, what color is the tape on that one? I normally Kokanee fish, but will be hitting some coho lakes this year, and whatever that one was, was killing em

@@Northwestfishingfanaticsthanks for the info. I am a new Kokanee fisherman so this helps me.

That'd be nice if they were bigger. I have caught a few around the 18-20" range.
Whats the limit? Same as trout limit? Thanks
Yep 5. same as Trout.
When I troll in those kinds of conditions, I lock the steering on my kicker and use the bow mount as a thruster to move the bow.
I thought it was blowing too hard to use the bow mount. thanks for watching.

What is the brand of the dodger with the crackle tape? Fun video to watch by the way!
