    Thx so much, your trick of learn with pushing the leverage is very good. It works and I changed and adjust the break pads by my Fiido d4s. I delay this task long time but now you motivated me and it works brilliant. Greetings from Germany

    How is the Rubber tires Could you make a video monorim Suspension.

    • @stevenagehire4779
      @stevenagehire4779  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Justyns, the rubber tyres are a firmer ride but they save so much hassle with punctures that I would recommend them as great value for money! There are lots of different types though some are softer material which is closer to the pneumatic tyres and some are very hard material which last longer but are a very harsh ride. A good balance of both is what I recommend.
      Would you like me to do a video of installing the Monorim suspension? Thanks

      @@justynssagan6156 I would recommend u to keep the back tire tubed and the front airless. That's what I did at least. It has a firmer ride but the back tire make it up. Sharper steering and just a tiny bit less comfortable but nothing that will make u stop riding these things!

    How do I know what brake pads to order? Are there any universal ones

    Trying to adjust same as you but it seen the adjust thing (2:12) doesn't want to move...

    • @stevenagehire4779
      @stevenagehire4779  6 місяців тому +1

      Hi, does it have an Allen key hole (I guess I’m just checking that it is definitely an adjustable one).
      If so, I’d remove the pads and spray some WD40 or similar penetrative oil in and around the thread before trying again. Also try alternating between tightening and loosening as this often works it loose. Failing that I’d use an impact gun/drill in a “do or die” attempt where if that doesn’t work you’ll need to replace the calliper itself. They’re relatively inexpensive but if you’re anything like me it’s the wait time that will bug you 😂
      Good luck, let me know how you get on!

      @@stevenagehire4779 Thanks for you fast answer.
      I try also with an allen key hole after. But it's huge tighten ! (Surprise how they really tighten all the screw...)
      I going to bought a new one before trying to "do or die" way :D (i need my escooter on weekdays)
      Nota : it's on a Ninebeot F2, so it's front brake but there the same.

    For some reason that bolt that adjusts the pad now is getting tighter with driving and i need to release it every day

    • @stevenagehire4779
      @stevenagehire4779  6 місяців тому

      Is that the one that moves the pad in and out only? Or one of the ones that hold the calliper? Thanks

      @@stevenagehire4779 the pad in and out only... I will set it,and it tightens itself from the driving vibrations,i need to reset it everyday and it's pain in the ass 🤣

    • @stevenagehire4779
      @stevenagehire4779  2 роки тому

      Most electric scooters have electronic brakes on the front and only a mechanical brake on the rear.
      That’s why only the back brakes. I can make a video for you on the front brakes if you like, just let me know what scooter you are talking about 👍🏼
