    Your videos are always so well thought out and concise. One of my favorite UA-cam channels. Would love for you and Mike to do a Q&A on how you manage to find time to raise two wonderful daughters, keep a tidy home, research best practices and all the rest!

    We received the Lovevery play gym as a baby shower gift, and it is, hands down, the BEST gift we received. Baby girl loves it. It keeps growing with her and is amazing quality. Definitely an heirloom item. Can't wait to subscribe to their play kits!

    Your reason why was my reason why we are on our second box! I tried to do Montessori with my daughter 5 years ago but I was so overwhelmed. Now with my son (4 months) I am confident! This subscription is amazing and budget friendly.

    We've been using Lovevery since my son was born, he's now almost 1. I love the convenience of not having to buy the toys individually and have to research what's appropriate for his age. I do think it's a little expensive for the material but the convenience is worth it!

      I want to buy it for the parent instructions. Are they worth it?

    • @princesskkay221
      @princesskkay221 3 роки тому +1

      It sounds expensive but when you break it down it really isn’t. You get about 7 toys per play kit. That’s $17 per toy and $40 per month (if you get a box every 3 months). Most people spend more then $40/mo on toys and most of them are plastic noisy toys that aren’t even helping their child developmentally. So if you break it down that way )$120 every 3 months for toys curated for your child’s age and development its not bad.

    • @ntmn8444
      @ntmn8444 Рік тому +1

      It’s really not expensive at all. I truly don’t understand how people figure it’s expensive. Am I missing something? I did a cost comparison of similar Montessori style toys. I went and sought similar toys from places like Amazon and Montessori specialty stores, and I found that, in comparison, the Lovevery kit is actually cheaper. Plus you’re saving time, and time is money too. How? You don’t have to research anything. Everything’s appropriate for the child’s age. Though it’s not easily quantified, you’re saving money in that regard too, and I don’t think a lot of people realize that.

      @@mayragossettandrade2418the parent instructions are the thing that makes it worth it IMO. I self curated my first daughters toys and she’s just not interested and I didn’t know how to play with her. A lot of the toys I bought are similar to the Lovevery ones. But without proper guidance they were a waste of money. I got the Charmer play kit for my second child and wow, I didn’t know a 2 month old could play with toys! So the play guides are the real value in the kits IMO. Cranky I would pay a couple of dollars for them even if I don’t have the toys. They’re basically a cheat sheet for where your child is at developmentally. And having spent waaaay too much time reading about child development… if I had the guided early on, I wouldn’t need to do all the reading.

    If this is out of your budget you can also watch the videos on UA-cam and incorporate those same skills and activities into your child’s routine. For example I bought the Melissa and Doug lock house when they introduced a players with locks, a DYI weather calendar, emotions books, I also got my toddler a wooden connect 4 for repeating patterns and fine motor skills, also the tissue box is easy to DYI with a tissue box and play silks.

    My son is 7 months old and I had heard about Lovevery when I was pregnant but chalked it up to being too expensive or just a gimmick, but when he turned 6 months old and I started looking more seriously into Montessori, I decided to get the play gym and started a subscription. I got his 5-6 month play kit and my 7-8 month one is on the way (I live in Korea and get my family to ship it to me haha). I absolutely love the company and the play kits are fantastic. My son plays with his play gym and all of his toys every day and he can do new things with them as he grows. The books and cards feature diverse babies and kids and the company is inclusive and works hard to make sure their shipping is carbon neutral and their products are manufactured ethically and sustainably. The podcast My New Life is fun to listen to and their guides that come with the kits are so helpful. I can't wait until he is old enough and I can get him the block set. For someone like me, a new mom new to Montessori, it's definitely worth it, and I hardly buy any other toys for him because I know that I'll get things appropriate for his age in due time with the play kits. Anyone just thinking about it, you can always start a subscription and just get one month to see if you like it and cancel if you don't - but I doubt you will when you see how great the quality and attention to detail is!

      Ban Cake the kiwi crates are STEM focused. Usually a book plus themed stuff. Animals, shapes, etc. The love every is Montessori focused, and there are some toys known widely as “Montessori toys” like the rainbow spinner and interlocked disks. A lot of solid wood toys that focus on coordination and texture exploring.

      I am very selective in doing sponsored videos only for products/companies that I personally support, and this is the first time I’ve ever done a full-on product review video for the Montessori at Home series. I get LOTS of questions about this subscription service every single week, so I felt that offering an in-depth review would be something many of you would be interested in seeing. It helps that I genuinely believe in their products (and wish I had known about it a long time ago, for my own girls). Thank you so much for watching and supporting! 🥰💕

    Hi Ashley! I’m a busy working mom and your videos are a lifesaver, I’m so glad you talked about Lovevery because I’ve had their subscription for my son to get more of the Montessori type of toys since he was 6 months old, because I’m so busy with work and don’t have the time to DYI, what I’ve bought for him is either from your Amazon Favorites/recommendations or from Lovevery! I always felt a little guilty about that, so I always wondered what you think of Lovevery and when I saw this video... I was so relieved! I honestly love them, so helpful for busy moms and I agree with your comments 100%. Thank you you’ve made this mom feel a lot better!

    What I missed in this video was if I could get the toys for alot cheaper if I put the time and effort into researching it or if it is just a bit of money. The box costs over 80€ per box in the first year here in Europe. If I were to buy compairable items and still had to spend 70-75 Euro AND do the research it's totally worth it. But if I could get the items for 30-40 € I'd have a more difficult time to decide.
    Plus it is always new toys. I'd like an option to get preloved toys in good condition at a lovevery marketplace or something like that.

But we just started the Toddler kits when he was 14 months. I have a tip for people considering Lovevery- the age ranges are good to consider but also think about your child's interests and abilities. We got 3 of the Toddler kits at one time (because I'm a crazy person..lol). There are a couple things in the Babbler (13-15 month kit) that he is still working on but there's a bunch of things in the "older kid" play kits (Pioneer and Realist) that he's mastered. "Follow the child" still applies. Anyway- thanks again Ashley... from one loving mama to another

      I agree, it is more important to look at the overall stage a kit is promoting vs. Just the age.
      For example, my lo only just turned 4 months, but she is already sitting unassisted and putting weight on her hands during tummy time (skills the 5-6 mo box promotes). I decided to order the 5-6 mo box early and sure enough, my lo was throughly engaged with all but one of the more advanced toys.

We’ve found the toddler play kits to be incredibly worth it for our daughter; and like someone else mentioned below - I always get them a few months AHEAD, and then my daughter can play with whatever she’s interested in (there’s always a lot) and I save the rest of it for a later date. I actually have a ton of Lovevery reviews and “play” videos uploaded on my channel too because I’m just so obsessed with them 😂. I was SO excited to see this title on your channel!!! 🌸💕 LOVE following your channel!

    Thanks for the review Ashley! My first baby will be born in a month and you and your delightful family are a huge inspiration to me. I have been watching your channel for almost two years while on my TTC journey. I’ve watched many of your Montessori videos multiple times! Your straightforward way of presenting Montessori in such a clear, practical manner makes it accessible for newbies and the positive affect this type of parenting has shines out through your beautiful girls! The Hapa Family is a Happy Family!
    When I found Lovevery, a few months ago I was able to determine for myself the play kits were worth it because I have watched your videos and realised many of the same Montessori toys and activities were included that I had already seen on your videos. They also appeared well thought out and well crafted. It seemed an easy way to bring Montessori into my child’s life in a much easier and more affordable way rather than starting from scratch. I also liked the educational information included for parents so I can learn along with my child. I ended up purchasing all of the kits from birth to 3 years, along with the play gym.
    I have to say the biggest drawback is that they don’t ship outside the USA. I live in Australia and had to have my boxes shipped to a US friend who will then send them on to me. I just hope they don’t get lost in the midst of the chaos created by COVID! So please pass onto Lovevery that they really need to start an international shipping program if they truly want to grow their company!

    Lovevery is great. The quality is really nice and the prices are fair. If they were much cheaper, I would have to question the ethics of the manufacturing, really... The only downside is if you get the play kits along with other products they sell, you get a few repeat items. You get a similar ball, cards, mirror from the play gym vs the kits. One kit also comes with blocks that you don't need IF you are going to buy the block set. Tricky because if you are only planning on buying the kits, of course, you would want those items. The resale value is good for Lovevery, so you can try to make some money back on them.

      We only did one box with Monti Kids (level 4) which is equivalent to three Lovery boxes. It is VERY similar to Lovevery, in fact one of the toys was the same except for the fact that Lovevery toy folds down. (Stacker toy- Lovevery folds down) and just in general you get a "softer" feel to Lovevery products.

    I have pretty much watched all of your vlogs and have commented quite a few times about Kylie's and Mia's intelligence. Every time I watch your vlogs I think the girls can't get any smarter or be more focused on their learning activities. I was wrong. They really are studious bookworms and I mean that in the highest compliment! 🤓

    I have a 3 month old and am getting the monthly box. I'm super pleased with the quality and how each kit builds off the last.
    She's currently enjoying the crinkle bag and black and white patterns.
    Definitely worth the investment. I paid for the full series up front and love how I don't need to sorry about getting her educational toys!
    Highly recommended! Excited to pass them down our next baby and friends.

    I just received my fourth box. There have been a couple duds but I have noticed my son has gone back to those toys after a couple months and played with it in a new way. I originally got the subscription because I was stressing myself out trying to research proper toys for each stage in learning. I love that it’s sustainably sourced and organic items. No it’s not cheap. However, I felt the guided books and ease of it was worth the money for myself. And everything has been excellent quality. I do wish you could buy certain things separately. I missed out on the tissue box and it still makes me sad because my son rips apart the cardboard tissue boxes I fill with stuff within a day.
    If you’re thinking about getting them, they have excellent resale value and you may be able to find the box you want for a lower price too.
    Hope this is helpful for anyone looking more into it.

    I’ve bought a few of the Lovevery play kits. They are good overall, but very expensive! She likes most of the toys and they are made well. I think some boxes are worth it while others are not. You can find or make similar toys for less and who can afford to buy new toys every few weeks/months? Plus going outside is best. Yet for special gifts like a birthday or Christmas I like to get a big gift like this (if I can.)

    I'm curious about how you might present the block set on an activity shelf. We own the set and the whole thing goes together so great, but there are so many different pieces and types of activities kids can do that I'm wondering if it's too much to keep it all together as one. It's also quite heavy with everything in there. Any thoughts on how you might present this to a 2.5 year old?

    I am SO tired of doing the math, the research and trying to find the toys that my boy might need. I actually have a subscription to a Montessori inspired learning center, but I still fail to observe and translate appropriately to purchase the material my boy actually needs. I constantly find myself buying more advanced activities that end up the drawer for future rotation. Now that my bub is nearing the 18 month milestone, I am seriously considering a subscription to lovevery, as his needs are growing in complexity and I don't think I can continue guessing, it has turned more expensive this way.
