Looks like steering inner tie rod noise, its inside in rubber boot ,so mechanic dont pay attention. I did mine 2007 crv recently same noise...also check lower rubber bushings for sway bar linkage rods mounted under engine..hard to see and diagonse those trust me only camera can catch it slightly move big noise on road...also last thing check lower ball joint slight movement cause big big thumb noise on bumps
Please update the issue. What was the problem, and how you fixed it?
In my case it was the tightening bolts of the rack and pinion were all loose. Check the bolts if they are tightened and also check the sway bars.

change the O ring seal from the steering wheel fluid lineconnected to the fluid reservoir . i own one same 2007
