I replaced the break switch and the issue was not resolved.. What do you suggest?

It was lose rack an pinion, just tightened the bolts!

Hi, It's called brake light switch, you need to check yours if it 2 pin pr 4 pins.
I dont agree with shock or mounts being a problem, if u take a really old car with bad shocks or suspension and then turn the wheel u will hear nothing on the steering wheel. Ive had 3 old cars, this doesnt make the most "likely" sence.
It was a loose rack and pinion, just tightened all bolts

100% its bad shock ,not holding weight of car knocking sound shows bad shock absorber., change complete shock with strut mount and ur problem will be 100% gone.enjoy.
how the hell does a shock absorber cause this sound from a steering wheel.... the steering wheel should not be moving the car up or down.... old shocks or old shock mounts dont even cause this sound.
@@CollosalTrollge u have to understand shock absorber job, when car hit pot hole car engine weight push down where shock absorber support and holds weight of car , with the help of spring...if shock absorber fails to hold weight of car u will hear bang bang noise because shock absorber not doing its job , hopefully u understand shock absorber mechanism.

I have same problem with my 2015 honda crv lx.
It's the VTC Actuator. But it's recommended to change all chain ⛓ assembly too @Ishwor Shrestha.

The steering rack was very lose, the mechanic had to tighten all bolts and it was fixed. Just tighten all bolts holding the steering rack in place.

@@HypeRacings My 2009 CRV is doign this now. Went to 2 mechanics. I thought it was a tie rod but Im told its in the steering. Did you need to lubricate the rack too?

Hey there. This is happening with my crv but when the vsa light is on it won't go above 2800rpm and will shutter and lose power. Shutting the engine off fixes the issue. Only happens when I first start it up for the day. Any advice?

Please update the issue. What was the problem, and how you fixed it?
In my case it was the tightening bolts of the rack and pinion were all loose. Check the bolts if they are tightened and also check the sway bars.
Looks like steering inner tie rod noise, its inside in rubber boot ,so mechanic dont pay attention. I did mine 2007 crv recently same noise...also check lower rubber bushings for sway bar linkage rods mounted under engine..hard to see and diagonse those trust me only camera can catch it slightly move big noise on road...also last thing check lower ball joint slight movement cause big big thumb noise on bumps
change the O ring seal from the steering wheel fluid lineconnected to the fluid reservoir . i own one same 2007
