The age differnce between my 2 sisters and are 7 & 9 yrs so they were already gone to school as far back I can remember. We never went to the same school. I never had to fight for the cearl box.lol❤

I remember the toys and records on the cereal box but the three of us kids were 7 years apart and I was the youngest and we didn’t fight over toys because my brother was the middle child but he did make me cry and take my picture he thought it was funny
lol. Forget the games and puzzles on the back of the cereal boxes, we always looked for the toys inside the bottom of the bag of cereal. I remember sticking my hand all the way through the cereal to get down to the bottom to steal the toy before my brothers got it. 😂
I opened the box from the bottom. Got in trouble, every time. LOL

Each week when we went to the grocery store my sister and I would scope out all the boxes of our favorite cereals to see which one we’d beg Mom to get. Then we’d swear that we wouldn’t fight over it. Somehow we always did anyway. Good times, great memories!
5:41pm in Illinios 18⁰ feels like 7⁰ wow a heat wave we won't get 40⁰ until a week from today.But I am greatful roof over my head food in my belly and freezer and The Lord is my savior.

Hello from Grand Rapids Michigan! Great memories! One of my favorite cereal box records was the Beatles She loves you Yeah Yeah Yeah. I was just telling our kids about it. We got one of our daughters a record player for Christmas. I hope the weather warms up soon. 62 days left until the First Day of Spring! 16 days left until Ground Hogs Day. I had an aunt and uncle who did the jitterbug . They were so good, so much so, that at my wedding in 1973, I had the band play music so we could all enjoy watching them again. Back in those days they practiced dance moves , unlike the way kids dance today.

I didn't have anyone to fight me over the cereal boxes or the toys. My brother was 10 years older than me, so he was working by the time I was getting toys out of cereal boxes. LOL. Now Matt, I will have to say your dad is really breaking you in big time, so there will be no surprises when you watch the animals when they take some trips this summer. My brother & I had an original Rudilph the Red Nose Reindeer from the back of a cereal box in the 50's. There used to be all types of things on cereal boxes & prizes on the inside. My mom didn't care that we ate all the surgary cereals. I remember a cereal called Jets but I don't remember what it was, just sugary. Oh my goodness those chickens that layed eggs under the coop & the eggs & chics were frozen!!! How terrible, but animals don't know the weather report. I hope they all stay in the coup & don't lay any more eggs until the weather is warmer. I must say, that I thought the hanky spiel was funny, but I had to really laugh at the unzipped fly spiel. Anything related to men's fly's is always funny even when you are a grownup! As a mom, I always checked flys to be sure they were all ok before the males went anywhere! Thanks Matt & Ralph for making me laugh!
