Jamie didn't want to join Prince Charlie's rebellion. First, Clair has told him it was a devastating failure in her history, and he believes her. Second, he knows Charlie would make a terrible king once his father (James) dies. Third, he's very sure Scotland cannot efficiently support this uprising. BUT-- Charlie has declared his intent, and forged Jamie's name to the document. Jamie either joins Charlie or goes to England and throws himself on the mercy of King George and claims his signature was forged, that he's a willing and loving subject of George and England's ownership of Scotland. So, he joins the rebellion as a loyal Scot, and tries to change history. THAT is where we are now. In France he was trying to get allies to NOT fund the rebellion and now he's trying to get his grandfather TO fund and supply the rebellion in hopes that what Claire knows is history can be changed.
Hi Imon, I stumbled over your changel searching for Commentary to the Outlander Series. And I binged all your videos to the series in the last couple of two days. You do such a beautiful job with your reactions and in depth commentary. I really love it. I have been to Scotland for a couple of times. We usually (me, my partner and our three kids) go every two years for three weeks vaccation to the westcoast of the highlights. And it's exactly as beautiful as you imagine. ♥ I have read all of the books, been a fan since they were published. Back then I worked in a bookstore and was selling the third book, that had come out that week, and I was wondering why everyone was grabing it out of my hands before I even could put it in the shelfs. I as sixteen at the time and looked at the book and was instantly interested. I bought book one, two and three at the end of that day, started reading and thus was on my lasting journing of falling in love with history, scotland and all of the book characters, especially though Jamie and Claire, obviously. I hope you do enjoy the second half of season two and keep going. Wish you all the best and are looking forward to your wonderful commentarys in the future. ♥ Greetings from Mila
Jamie did not want to follow Charles, that is correct. But Charles put Jamie’s name on the notice of revelation, without Jamie’s consent, so Jamie is stuck fighting for Charles’ cause.
Firefly on Netflix is a pretty good show... I love Outlander though. It truly is one of my favorite shows ever. The title song in Outlander is called The Skye Boat Song...
I've been watching this show for the first time since last month currently on season 3 so I've been watching all previous reactions. Which is kinda funny were both watching it for the first time at this current time 😄
I’m an American and have lived in both Ireland and New Zealand. Not Scotland, though. The nature is truly as beautiful in real life and worth many visits.
New Zealander here, you should 100% come and visit! I haven't been to Hobbiton myself, but I've heard it's really awesome, plus we have so many other amazing things to see and do!
Fergus riding that donkey, all ready to go to war, is one of the cutest things ever ❤
You should watch the blooper reels after a heavy episode. It helps me. It makes me feel better to see the actors laughing.
Ahh I'm so glad you're going to be reading the books! They are definitely a commitment, but SO worth it. They are my favorite book series.

Thank you thank you thank you ❤
Jack Randall is literally a psychopath. His brother, Alex, is a sweetheart.

Lord Simon Lovat was a real character who came to an infamous ending after the rebellion. Look him up.

Our shared hate for Laoghaire 📈 whenever she appears on screen. 😂

Yes, lol, the books are long... but very much worth the read! A great compliment to the TV show, I think.
Jaime's parents were in their late 20's when they had him. If Lord Lovett had his father when he was 20, he'd be 77 now.
Which Indian movie have you decided to watch tomorrow?
