i think they wanted to convey how out of place and uncomfortable they were in France. That's why the hospital scenes were so satisfying. They showed a confident, thriving Claire.
I re-watched your reaction videos, because I wanted to watch something Outlander, Waiting for you to post more Outlander reaction videos. I really like your reactions.
Lord Lovat, the Old Fox and his son are both real historical figures. Checking them out in Wikipedia or elsewhre doesn’t spoil anything about the plot, but might be interesting.
Always look forward to seeing these reactions drop and your thoughts on the series overall. This episode was kind of a reset and setup for the final arc of the season. I agree it was was nice to see the slower moments in this episode. Je Suis Prest starts off that final arc, and still has a bit of a slower pace from what I remember. However, the last four episodes are great and some of the best overall.
Hi girls! Im so looking forward to the rest of your Outlander reactions, but i just realized that it has been almost a year! Are you still on UA-cam? I hope you are well :) Take care! xx
Always excited to see another Outlander reaction from you ladies! Always fun. In the books they had almost a year before the Prince forged Jamie's signature and made him a traitor again, so they had time to heal, come back together as a couple, re-bond with the Lallybroch folks. This IS a rather cobbled together ep. They had to sqoosh in a lot of setup for future plot developments and it shows. Still, some enjoyable moments. Loved your reactions, as always.
Please, please, please come back! We need more Outlander reaction videos from you! Did you finish the series? Hope you both are thriving no matter what you're doing now! Thanks for the fun 😊
Great reaction! Y’all never disappoint! Completely agree with you on the pacing, they were trying hard to reset and it didn’t really work. The last moment with Claire and Jamie and his little quip about their agreement not to lie after she said he and his grandfather are alike is a fave bit of mine for some reason. It also made me think of when Geillis used to call Jamie a wee fox, much like how others called his grandfather one.
This episode is the one from Outlander’s entire run, that reminds me the most of Game of Thrones… so it is interesting, it is universally considered one of the “worst” episodes by most fans.
I totally agree with this episode. It seemed really hobbled together and the pacing was weird. Season 2 doesn't follow the books as linearly as season 1 and there's a lot of stuff out of sequence. I'm not sure if much was cut out from their time back in Scotland but I feel like the book gives you a little more of a beat to get reacquainted with everything, but that could just be the difference between watching something and reading something. It was an intriguing enough episode but having seen the entire series it's a little weak lol. Good reaction ladies!
I'm sorry i give up on this channel now. It's been soon 4 months and you've always been "late" I hope everything is well with you two. I'll be checking back in a year or 2.
Nice to be back with you and Outlander. Did you recognise Lord Lovat as The Blackfish from Game Of Thrones? The real Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat was the last person executed by beheading in England.
Simon isnt actually Jamie's cousin, he's his uncle! Considering Lord Lovat is his father and therefore Jamie's father is his half-brother. Loved this reaction, they always make my day. Hope you guys are doing well and I'll be looking forward to the next one :)
@Facetious Universe No, I believe Young Simon was Lord Lovats son, not his grandson. That means that Brian Fraser and Young Simon are half brothers. And so that makes Young Simon Jamie’s half uncle not cousin.
@Facetious Universe Oh my god wait, did you think I was saying Lord Lovat is Jamie's father? Because I meant that he's SIMON's father, not Jamie's. Of course he's not Jamie's dad. Thats why I said Simon is actually Jamie's uncle, because Jamie's FATHER was also Lord Lovat's son, which makes Simon and Jamie's father half-brothers.
claire: * is almost burnt for being a witch*
Jamie, every 5 minutes: did you know my wife is a witch??
I’ve binged this all day and just realized this was the last one and no update in two months 😭😭😭 the emptiness i feel rn is real! Where u at ladies?
Lord Lovat was an actual person. You won't spoil anything by looking him up & will give you a deeper understanding.

Will you do any more Outlander reactions?? I enjoyed your thoughts on what you've released already, but its almost been a year since your last one...

@Facetious Universe The nature of adapting huge books to the TV screen, alas.
Lord Lovat is also the Blackfish from Game of Thrones (catelyn stark's uncle)
You guys should totally continue these
We need the next one!
Also remember, a "Lord' means a bit more in France than it does in Scotland.
Please, please, please come back! We need more Outlander reaction videos from you! Did you finish the series? Hope you both are thriving no matter what you're doing now! Thanks for the fun 😊

Really? I've always loved this one lol
I think this show is based on some historical facts, so it has nothing to do with what you hope happens but what realy happened
Lord Lovat existed in real life. His name was Simon Fraser - but wait until you're done with season 2 until you look him up.
wait, yall have really been watching this show for a year and you're only half way through season 2???????????????????????????????
I totally agree with this episode. It seemed really hobbled together and the pacing was weird. Season 2 doesn't follow the books as linearly as season 1 and there's a lot of stuff out of sequence. Oh final reaction episode.. Looking forward for more. How often do you upload Outlander reactions?

Why do we have to wait such a long time between episodes/uploads? 😞

Hi Lofi and Jinxi how are u guys? What do u guys think of season 2 of Outlander so far?
Nice to be back with you and Outlander. Did you recognise Lord Lovat as The Blackfish from Game Of Thrones? The real Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat was the last person executed by beheading in England.

@Facetious Universe Yes, I know your grandparents are your parents parents, however I was always under the impression that Simon was Lord Lovat's son.
@Facetious Universe When I look it up online it also says that Simon is Lord Lovat's son, not grandson.
