Thank you! this seems tryly very easy. I recently made my first sewing project - a skirt with an elasticated back , and the fabric on the waistband bunches up in a very ugly way. I'll definitely give this a shot!

Nope! You can use just basic all purpose type threads!

Yes, it should! I always recommend to prestretch all elastic before cutting to help make sure the elastic will stay the same length through the construction of the garment!

Yes! Before cutting/measuring your elastic you will want to give a couple stretches, making sure to stretch it to the max! This will help make sure your elastic doesn’t get stretched out after cutting and sewing!
