I only have one official ford key which i accidentally used to program this stupid feature. I did however get a spare key made and I'm wondering if i could use that one to unprogram this shitty feature
Let me know if you were able to get it done with the new spare key that was made for you. Currently having the same problem and I’m wondering if I get another key made will it work to deactivate the feature
Any luck? I’m in the exact same boat right now. Hell, I even went in and turned off ALL of the MyKey options with Forscan and it’s still limited to 80 MPH top speed. This entire modern car MyKey type of shit is a total crock of shit, and part of why I bought a fucking police interceptor utility as my second vehicle. It’s got a plain “fleet” key like my ‘95 F-150 had.
I'm in the same situation I have a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport and I accidentally programmed this fucking mykey bullshit into the car. The thing is none of the restrictions kicked in for a while. It's fucking wierd.
To reset the MyKey on a Ford Explorer 2014 basic edition with two keys restricted to MY_KEY and without a push-start button, you will need the admin key. The admin key is the original key that was programmed to the vehicle when it was first manufactured. If you do not have the admin key, you will need to visit a Ford dealership to have the MyKey restrictions removed. Assuming you have the admin key, follow these steps to reset the MyKey: 1. Insert the admin key into the ignition and turn it to the on position. 2. Use the arrow buttons on the steering wheel to navigate to the MyKey menu in the instrument cluster. 3. Select the option to clear all MyKeys. 4.Confirm that you want to clear all MyKeys by following the on-screen instructions. 5. Once the MyKey feature is reset, turn the ignition off and remove the admin key. Now all restrictions set by MyKey should be removed, and all keys should have full functionality.
Hi. Note that the specific wording may vary depending on the car's model and software version. You may find "Clear MyKey" in the submenu under "Vehicle Settings" or "MyKey Settings".
Hi. Here are some things you can try if you don't hear a sound when you open the door of your 2013 Ford Fusion with the key fob: - Check the battery in the key fob and change it if it needs to be. - Make sure that the key fob is set up correctly. - Check your car's settings to make sure that the alert tool is turned on. - If the problem keeps happening, have a mechanic or a Ford supplier check the sensor that detects when the door is opened.

Does it have to be the negative?
Yes. You never take the positive off first period. That’s how you create sparks and fires end up starting.
What if I don't have push-start button ?

Thank you very much.
I have a 2012 cord fusion with my key enabled. How can I get it to take it off. The mykey reset option doesn’t show.
